How sad, she had beauty and talent. It is amazing how many people who have been given such gifts end up on drugs and dead at an early age.

When I first saw her back in the ‘80s I thought she was the most beautiful woman I ever saw. Way too young and way too bad
We don’t know yet if it was drug related but she ruined herself over drugs.
I think this is such a shame on so many levels after years of loving her voice. And that National Anthem at the start of the Gulf War at the Super Bowl (1991?)ranks the best ever sang by anyone.
She had it all and threw it all away. Listening to her trying to sing after her comeback last year was just painful. She threw it all away for drugs.
