The ATT Golf Tournament is now going on in coastal Monterey, California. For that reason numerous high-rollers and public figures are in town to rub elbows.
The Monterey Conference Center is at the downtown Portola Hotel & Spa --my guess is that Tiger Woods is at The Lodge at Pebble Beach. However, Mitt Romney and many others were apparently staying or giving a talk at this Portola Hotel where they have just had a CHLORINE GAS INCIDENT in the hotel.
They evacuated the whole hotel --I can see them outside in the rain over there, with numerous emergency vehicles outside with their spinners on, and a few local news trucks.
My guess, however, is that some house-keeping staff mixed bleach and ammonia, but some people told me the Secret Service is over there, asking all kinds of hard questions.

No link cuz juuust happened. I’m very close nearby, watching this as it happens. I have no TV here, but probably KSBW TV news in Monterey has something —I’m looking at their truck now, with their guys running all over the place.

I’m sitting close to the intersections of Alvarado st. & Del Money Avenue in coastal Monterey, California.
The hotel is across the street.
It’s rainy now, with 10 m.p.h. winds —terrible day for golfing or shopping for rich folks.
Because they evacuated the whole hotel some of the staff sought refuge from the rain in this structure I’m looking out of now, and they were spilling the beans about Mitt Romney being/having been there, and everything.
And that is consistent with the Matrix-style SUV’s there now, and numerous emergency vehicles responding.
The hotel staff told me the Secret Service is pissed off and giving the 3rd degree to a bunch of the hotel people (which I would understand).
Now that we have a link,making it ‘official’, and since it may involve Romney - maybe this should be in “Breaking News”??

The news, however, has not yet disclosed the part about Mitt Romney having been/being there.
I do not know where Mitt is, right now.
They’re all out there still, with their spinners on, and every now and then I can see them wheel out people on gurneys, being loaded into awaiting ambulances.
Chlorine gas is nothing to mess around with.

The tournament finished yesterday (Sunday).

These days, if someone spills a bottle of ammonia, they call Haz-Mat for fear of lawsuits and the EPA showing up.
