Works for me!
Liberal? Really? who do you think is not liberal?
I'm not neutral, I prefer Newt, but Santorum did the best in that debate.
Gingrich is on his game about every other debate.
Newt is on his game a lot more than that, but his last two were a lot weaker than normal and it hurt him since his support had come from people watching how well he had done in the prior debates.
Having met Sen Casey and attempted a conversation with him, I think you're being very generous in your IQ estimate. However he does a good job of looking the part. He is polite, wears a nice suit and his shoes are polished.
The same thing happened to Santorum a couple of months ago on Fox News Sunday in an interview with Chris Wallace.
The HHS mandate was to force Newt and Rick to take a stand. Either they stand with their Church's view on birth control, which is not shared by most, or they don't, which makes them a hypocrite.
That leaves Romney, who DID THE SAME THING IN MASS! This was about forcing Romney to the front. It hasn't worked that way yet, but I suspect the next vote will be telling.
If this is what this party has become, they deserve to lose. They blow around with the wind. It's an embarrassment and a disgrace. But the bottom line means, we all lose!
Santorum can beat the community organizer on principal alone!
I was wondering why Newt is helping Romney beat Santorum and get the nomination. He should pull out and support Rick if he loves his children. Newt is a spoiler :)
HA-HA!
*This is a guaranteed disaster. (AGAIN)*
We are dealing with the double down dumb here - incapable of learning and they aren’t pure principled conservatives because they are gaga over a candidate who LIES and campaigned for a pro abortion pro HOMO marriage candidate - which isn’t even a republican platform much less conservative! They aren’t attracted to good but evil. They are attracted to one who doesn’t walk what he talks - he is a deceiver. His lack of no exec experience and his big gov’t spending. Certainly nothing of any great accomplishment. One wouldn’t know that by just listening to him.
He’s not a conservative because he says he is -

“But he shot himself in the foot when he decided to attack Romney from the left, and he’s never recovered”
Talking about Romney’s support of homosexual “marriage” and abortion on demand is attacking him from the left?
Or do you mean when Newt talked about Romney being a vulture capitalist and ruining thousands of people’s lives so he could make more millions for himself and his corporate raiders. Many conservatives, including
Richard Viguerie, about as conservative as they come, had this to say about Romney and Bain capital.

I only voted for McFail because Palin was on the ticket. That's one thing that drives me crazy with Savage, saying the only reason he lost was because of Palin. Only reason he got what he did was because of her.
The liberal masters are happy with Santorum, as he cannot possibly win in the fall.
I’m going shopping for a saiga 12. When the currency has lost so much of its value that it cannot quell the zombie hoards, it will be time. I’m thinking 2-3 years, but it could happen during the election this fall.
Interestingly, that makes it harder for Romney to attack him now, while it did nothing to help Romney win in 2008. So it hurt no one and helps Santorum beat Romney now.
IN fact, many things he is attacked for are like that. Most votes people complain about either would have passed easily anyway, or didn’t actually pass. But each “less than conservative” position can be used in the general election to refute the coming Obama storm of “far-right-radical” attacks.
I don’t think Santorum is really pro-union, but if his record shows he was fair to unions, it will be hard for Obama to paint him as anti-Union. Likewise, Santorum’s conservative softness on the minimum wage will make it hart to paint him as hating poor people, even though conservatives know the minimum wage hurts poor people. Obama can’t argue that.
Since Santorum isn’t going to be pushing union bills, or minimum wage bills, and he won’t have anything to do with earmarks, as President he’ll be just fine.
RE: as he cannot possibly win in the fall.
And your reason for saying that is ...
I think a lot of Rick’s support is anti-Romney.
I would prefer Newt over Rick over Romney, since it might be good for the world to think our leader is a little crazy and trigger happy. Think of “the bombing begins in five minutes”. Also, think how much effort we spend dealing with NK and Iran because their leaders are crazy. It may work in our favor,
You mean, Dede Scozafossa? Newt Gingrich Endorses Dede Scozzafava in NY-23 House race
Washington -- In a major coup for her campaign, Republican Dede Scozzafava today will pick up the endorsement of Newt Gingrich, one of the nations leading conservative figures and the architect of the Republican Revolution in the mid-1990s. The special election for the 23rd Congressional District is an important test leading up to the mid-term 2010 elections, Gingrich said in a statement to supporters. Our best chance to put responsible and principled leaders in Washington starts here, with Dede Scozzafava.Oops. "campaigned for a pro-abortion pro-HOMO marriage candidate". That's your words, and there it is, Gingrich doing just that.
...
Gingrich is apparently willing to overlook Scozzafavas support for same-sex marriage and abortion rights.
Now, in 2008, Santorum did endorse Mitt Romney. And it is true that Mitt Romney was pro-abortion at one time, and campaigned at one time for homosexual rights. Not in 2008 of course, when Santorum endorsed him, but many people figured they couldn't trust Romney's conservative platform in 2008.
But Dede didn't even pretend to have become pro-life, or anti-gay-marriage, when Newt endorsed her. Romney was SAYING he was pro-life, and against gay marriage, and was defending DOMA and a federal anti-gay-marriage amendment. DeDe was campaigning FOR gay marriage and FOR abortion rights when Newt endorsed her.
Now, I don't think endorsements are a good reason to reject candidates, but you apparently do, and think that a candidate who would endorse a pro-homosexual-marriage, pro-abortion canididate is evil and a deceiver. And using your own criteria, you would have to reject Newt Gingrich, who endorsed Dede.
Yes, that is exactly what I am talking about. I have no problem with Bain, whatsoever, as long as they did not receive a government bailout. There are a lot of problems I have with Romney, but that's not one of them.
Newt Gingrich says hes a student of history, but he must have gone to the same school as Barack Obama if he is reaching the same wrong conclusion about economic freedom," said Club for Growth President Chris Chocola. Mitt Romney made his money from putting capital to work to create jobs and economic growth. We should encourage, not criticize, such behavior. Newt Gingrichs comment that Mitt Romney made money from no work is ridiculous and continues his poisonous attack on economic freedom.
Statement On Newt Gingrichs Attacks On Mitt Romney And Bain Capital:
Newt Gingrichs attacks on Mitt Romneys record at Bain Capital are disgusting, said Club for Growth President Chris Chocola. There are a number of issues for Mitt Romneys Republican opponents to attack him for, but attacking him for making investments in companies to create a profit for his investors is just wrong. Because of the efforts of Bain Capital, major companies like Staples, Dominos Pizza, and the Sports Authority now employ thousands of people and have created billions in wealth in the private economy. Attacking Governor Romney for participating in free-market capitalism is just beyond the pale for any purported Reagan Conservative. Newt Gingrich should stop his attacks on free markets and apologize to Governor Romney for them.
Now, I know Club For Growth must be one of those establishment republican RINO organizations and all....
