How is Fox & Friends spinning? And how does that fit with what this woman said, other than she said it on that show?
McSally was a guest on the show, she was interviewed, and she made this inane comment that’s spread far and wide. How does that make it F&F ‘spin?’
With respect, Colonel McSally needs a reminder that in this country, the military serves the civilian.
When I was in Afghanistan, in the TOC, I listened on the radio as our guys took a hill back that had been overrun by the Taliban. They found the corpses of the Afghan soldiers who had been captured. They had been beheaded. All of them.
Part of the problem is that most folks cannot conceive of us being down to hand-hand combat. They also have never put on 100 lbs of gear and tried to walk across a street, let alone spend a day in combat.
And too many believe the movies, where a 100 lb hottie uses her martial arts skills to demolish some 240 lb man...
The minute I heard this I thought what in the world is he thinking. The first sentence is very open to speculation. I thought he was alluding to, when women are on the front line, their natural emotions aka hormones could make them do things that would compromse a mission. I am still not sure that isnt what he meant. Whatever, this will make a great sound byte for Obama and the liberals.
