Arizona congressional candidate Paul Babeus ex-boyfriend spoke to CNN on Monday, saying he felt used and threatened by the Pinal County Sheriff after their relationship ended.
Babeus ex-lover Jose, a 34-year-old Mexican national, told CNNs Miguel Marquez that Sheriff Babeu threatened to have him deported if he went public with their affair. Joses face is pixilated in the interview.
Jose who said he is in the country legally told Marquez he felt used during the affair. Marquez then asked Jose, Used. And then threatened?
Yes, Jose said in the interview. I got a text from him, directly, on my phone saying that I will never have business, that my family will be contacted.
Jose said Babeu threatened him with deportation if he exposed their affair. Do you think he was trying to make you leave the country? Marquez asked.
Maybe, Jose said. He just, what I think he just want me to keep me as far as, so I dont say anything about him or about his behavior.
They met in 2006 on a gay dating website called gay.com, and Jose said the first picture Babeu sent was a photo of him with Sen. John McCain.
Jose also told Marquez that Babeu never asked him what his status was during the course of their relationship, and said he is in the United States on a ten-year multiple entry tourist visa.
Babeu has stepped down as a co-chair of Mitt Romneys presidential campaign after Joses story was reported in the Phoenix New Times, but said he will continue with his congressional campaign. At his press conference on Saturday, Babeu acknowledged he is gay, but denied Joses allegations that he threatened to deport him once their relationship ended.
All of the allegations are false except one, I am gay, Babeu said on Saturday.
What a sick fiasco this whole thing is. My only hope is this hurts Romney in Arizona.
Queers with smears are seldom gay.
Now that’s just plain gay.....almost as bad as Barney with his hand cupping that young guy at the fair or whatever it was...
I believe any gay man has the right to marry any woman he chooses.
Paul Babeu Supports Gay Marriage and Gays in the Military

You know, like British royalty.
Vote for the REAL Democrat in that race! This guy would vote with the DEMS on ALL social issues and maybe even on others. GO AWAY BABEU!
Why did this story make it to the MSM?
The voters never hold back a sec from beating all Republicans about the head and shoulders for dealing in gays.
When a someone says “gay rights”, I don’t assume they mean the rights we all hold in common, I assume they want special rights, otherwise why mention it? They already have all the rights everyone else has, so anyone who implies otherwise has an agenda.
Oh, yeah, the RNC Chairman, Ken Mehlman, didn't help with things.
It is more important that we win this election than that Br'r Babeu be involved in this campaign.
We can be concerned about gay rights at some later date ~
What a disgusting story. Who would have thought that the fecal-eaters would be receiving positive press? The #1 vector for the spread of infectious disease, male homos, exalted as something special and deserving of special rights and privileges for being mentally disordered. People should read up on homo bathhouses-—absolutely the most unsanitary quarters with fecal coliform contamination throughout—little different from the worst public outhouse and these deviants are rimming and felching like it is a gravy train, but hey; we should never express outrage or concern for public health—it ain’t the gay way.
Yes, indeed.
It used to be that the government recognized lifetime heterosexual couplings as “marriage”, in which the man and woman threw their lot together PERMANENTLY, because they were almost always procreative and were the time-tested method for ensuring the next generation was nurtured and provided for.
Procreation is ESSENTIAL for society and the nation - so the government has an interest in affirming the right of people to choose a lifetime heterosexual partner. But the government has no interest in promoting any other forms of sexual relationships.
As you (sort of) said: “gay” “rights” my ass.
“Gay Rights” is about “Special Rights” for an urge. There is no Right to sodomy—an evil act—in a government which is founded on Natural Rights from God—we can never dump that for Barney Frank’s twisted, ugly, demeaning notions of “Rights”.
Homosexuality (gay Rights) demeans people’s bodies-—uses them for their own lusts—which not only is nihilism and debauchery—but denies children their basic natural rights to have their biological parents do their duty and raise their own kids.
This destruction of the Natural Family comes right out of Marx’s book of egalitarianism—no differences between men and women. It is a Big Lie and Just Law can NEVER promote evil in societies. Just Law is based on the Moral Virtues and social contracts that promote the “laws of nature”-—they were until this promotion of Marxism is dismantling Just Law.
Laws favoring evil, dysfunctional behaviors which try to normalize evil are Unjust Law. It is unconstitutional.
Ann Coulter has come to the defense of Arizona congressional candidate Paul Babeu.
"Saying Paul Babeu is the only candidate that can win."
Later Ann was overhead saying, "... he owes me!"
All this story needs to make it complete is a gerbil.
I wonder if this thread will stay on here. I hope so, because it is the truth - the sheriff admitted he’s gay. I don’t care what an individual does, but to be a representative is something else - there is no doubt he would push the gay agenda and I’m sick of these people helping to destroy America. No, I do not want any of them in public office. If that makes me biased, fine.
