I thought you were the person trying to figure out which character Kruger played in O' Brother ... (the Devil). Sorry if I pinged the wrong person. That quote was one of his lines I remembered.

I WAS the person trying to figure out who he played but I did not (still don’t) remember those lines. That was my least favorite part of that movie that I have seen many times.

I tend to remember obscure lines in movies. Examples would include: "Deservin's got nothin' to do with it", "I love our new jobs!", "We'll deal with it". Unforgiven, Boondock Saints, and History of Violence respectively. Could go on but I know it irritates the hell out of normal folks. In the case of O' Brother Kruger's character wore those heavy black goggle glasses throughout so he wasn't easy to recognize.

Nope, just a Democrat. Only a Democrat can be shot in the head and not hit a brain.

I remember a few. “Badges? We don't need no stinkin’ badges!”

I even used that line one time when a guy asked to see my rodeo badge.

I once used it at a US DOC Trade Center Mexico City reception for visiting businessmen when the matronly (American) “lady” running things refused to give a US-Mex flag pin to my partner and me since we were lowly reps assisting a manufacturer and not manufacturers ourselves. A petite chain smoking Mexican employee who liked us and could not stand the fat American boss lady, when we told her our story, said “That beech! I weel get them for you!” And she did. We make a point of walking past the boss and saying sotto voce “We don’t need no stinkin’ badges”.

LOL! Excellent! When I used it we were headed back behind the arena to check on my husband’s bulls that were scheduled to buck that night. I don’t think the kid had seen the movie and he looked at me like I was a space alien!

I really do feel sorry for him. With Diabetes he won’t heal well from the injury, and it’s possible down the road he may try again with more resolve.

Sad. He’s facing the rest of his life with constant hospital visits and a decline by the disease. I wish they’d find a cure for diabetes.

Yes. I loved him on Malcolm in the Middle. I think he was the sheriff in The General’s Daughter.

In the movie “Thinner” he successfully (after a curse was put on his character) shoots himself.

Oh yeah he was the police chief, I forget what he was cursed with. The judge was “lizard”.

I never could figure that out either.

The next time “Thinner” is on, I’m going to Close Caption it so that I can read what the police chief says he was cursed with.

Kari Wuhrer...oh yeah! There used to be “au natural” pics of her on the interwebs. I’ll have to check (from home) if they’re still out there...

What he got was giant pimples or something. So what is that “teenager”? ;d

It’s possible they didn’t even say in the movie, maybe it’s in the book.

“Zits” HA!

Good point - it should be in the book.

This is why I don’t hate the Yankess:
