I agree. I am sick to death of sacrificing our brave men and women for savages who don’t care and, in fact, would torture and murder them if they could. All a person has to do is look at the history of Islam and they’ll understand there is no moderating it or getting along with it. The only way those people are changed is if/when some of them come to Christ.
You don’t seem to have a grasp of the words “Faith,” “Belief,” and especially “Compassion,” although you didn’t mention Compassion.
You will be in my prayers.

Look. For probably the first time in history you are getting the thoughts of the people who are powers in the body politic. Unfiltered by the MSM, untouched by spin doctors (mostly - yes some folk have professional tweeters) in real time.
The news is dying. Pols no longer need to tailor soundbites for the evening news, they can post in real time. The days of the 60 Minutes team telling you what to think about a press release are gone.
There is some justice in what you said. Some people will follow unquestioningly. Some will reject unquestioningly too. You will always get those, it can’t be helped.
Most though, read and think.

Well I will probably agree with you that FB is an abomination. It was created for people too stupid to understand how to use the web.
That said it is a fairly effective communication tool, especially for family and close friend.
Sarah ond others use it effectively. It’s kind of like when CB radio went nuts.

Elaborating... when CB went downhill the FCC and real radio people set up the family radio band. That way immature people could go to the local dollar store and buy cheap radios they could use to broadcast the sounds of their bodily functions and think everyone was hearing them.

A man was sick and tired of going to work every day while his wife stayed home. He wanted her to see what he went through so he prayed: "Dear Lord; I go to work every day and put in 8 hours while my wife merely stays at home. I want her to know what I go through. So, please allow her body to switch with mind for a day. Amen." God, in His infinite wisdom, granted the man's wish.
The next morning, sure enough, the man awoke as a woman. He arose, cooked breakfast for his mate. Awakened the kids, set out their school clothes, fed them breakfast, packed their lunches, & drove them to school. He came home and picked up the dry cleaning, taking it to the cleaners. Stopped at the bank to make a deposit. Went grocery shopping, then drove home to put away the groceries. Paid the bills and balanced the checkbook. Cleaned the cat's litter box and bathed the dog. Then, it was already 1PM.
He hurried to make the beds, do the laundry, vacuum, dust, sweep and mop the kitchen floor. He ran to the school to pick up the kids and got into an argument with them on the way home. Set out milk and cookies and got the kids organized to do their homework. He then set up the ironing board, and watched TV while he did the ironing. At 4:30 he began peeling potatoes and washing vegetables for salad, breaded the pork chops and snapped beans for supper.
After supper, he cleaned the kitchen, ran the dishwasher, folded laundry, bathed the kids, and put them to bed. At 9:00 he was exhausted and, though his daily chores weren't finished, he went to bed where he was "expected" to make love, which he managed to get through without complaint.
The next morning, he awoke and immediately knelt by the bead and prayed "Lord, I don't know what I was thinking. I was so wrong to envy my wife's being able to stay home all day. Please, oh please, let us trade back again".
The Lord in His infinite wisdom replied "My son, I feel you have learned your lesson and I will be happy to change things back to the way they were. You'll just have to wait nine months though; you got pregnant list night!"
That's humblegunner...
