Military1Click: As a military spouse and having seen the film, I am so excited that you “got it.” Emotionally, this is a hard movie to watch because our spouses never talk about what they do “out there.” Now I know. This movie had a huge impact on me because so many of the scenes hit so close to home. As a military spouse, your military friends do become your “family”. You have been to their weddings and baby showers, but the harsh reality is, you have also been to the funerals. This movie captured all of the elements that are involved in the military lifestyle. Thank you for making it so authentic.

Just got home from a special preview here in the Imperial Valley(a large portion of the film was shot here in 2009). Well done except for the nauseating hand held 1/2 second shots that seem to be so in vogue by the current crop of film makers. Makes me want to puke. The acting was surprisingly good considering the newbie actors that should have been out of their element. I would give it a solid 3 out of 4 stars. If I had seen more of Roselyn Sanchez it would have scored a 3 and 1/2.
