Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado was flanked by senior citizens and needy children at city hall Thursday who will be more needy if cuts to federal funding kick in as scheduled on April 1st. It would prove a cruel April fool’s day.
The cruelest cuts to federal block grant funds – that help feed the elderly, provide pre-school and day care for the children of low income working parents, help kids with disabilities, and provide health care to the poor – would be felt in South Florida cities. Hialeah would see it’s funding cut by nearly half. Miami by a third. Miami-Dade and Broward would see similarly draconian reductions, according to an analysis by CBS4′s News Partner, The Miami Herald.

This is the second time I have heard ‘Draconian’ in the same amount of days.
I wonder if they realize its the President and not congress.
Funny how all this works. As long as you have someone to blame they are they bad guys. Its not the cause and effect of actual policies that the President has.

This government, this Obama and his minions, are struggling mightily together with the MSM to keep up the appearance of this country’s solvency.
More and more, up and until election day, these snippets of unrest to come will crop up in odd places, but until he is re-elected, they will be ignored by the MSM.
BUT! After the election, when Obama’s government can no longer cash those leech checks, dole out union giveaways, reward Planned Parenthood, give away billions and trillions in grants and ‘shovel-ready’ scams, the shit will hit the fan.
Smart net tax-paying citizens are wising up, they are checking out from the blood letting lines, they are minimizing their tax exposure and they are paying off their bills. Ultimately, Obama will be then left with the final option - outright confiscation of IRAs, 401Ks, and pensions. Look for it at a country near you.
