Newt Gingrich addresses the NRA in a way that No Other presidential candidate has before in 24 yrs.
Every single website is saturating their news post attempting to downplay Newt Gingrich's presidential campaign. This all-out effort is proof positive that this man is at the right time in the right place. We need somebody like Newt Gingrich that can go into Washington and go to work on day one. All the other presidential candidates are a mere learn on the job apprentices compared to Newt Gingrich.

That speech brought tears to these old eyes ... because Newt is exposing a sad fact about We The People, that we have lost our understanding that we are the sovereigns and the government should be answering to US rather than We The People begging the government to exend to US what our founding fathers and mothers defined as ours because OUR CREATOR has given these to US. We The People need this man, Newt Gingrich, as OUR leader and OUR spokesperson globally, to halt the global march of socialism and dictatorship by federal powers not granted by a free people.

Your ping is appreciated and Newt will have my vote next Tuesday even if Mitt & Rick will walk away with all the marbles, in Michigan at least.

Sorry, but Newts not contesting Michigan, nor the 7th district as Michigan votes delegates based on congressional districts. Its between Santorum or Romney here. Romney needs to lose.
If delegates are awarded proportional, wouldn't it help Newt to receive votes? I know Romney is expected to win in Michigan, but was hoping Newt could pick up some delegates too.

Thanks for your reply. I hope EVERYONE who is eligable to vote votes for their favorite candidate. I believe many conservatives did not vote in 2008 which certainly helped Obama to get elected.

Thanks for your reply. I do hope those who support Newt will vote for him, especially if delegates are awarded proportional in your state.

No. Because Michigan complied with state law regarding election dates and chose a primary, we're losing 1/2 of our delegates. The allocation is winner take all 2 per congressional district with 2 at large. While the 'two' are supposed to be proportional in a technical sense, it's going to the winner, whoever it is.
As for Romney expected to win here, I have something to say about that.

he’d have to win an entire district, and with him not campaigning here, it will be impossible. Those who want Newt over Romney need to vote Santo.

Newt. I do believe, is much like W, the man for these times. I differed greatly with Dubya on many issues, but never doubted that he was where he was, when he was, because God called him to be so.
May God give Newt strength, and more, may He give each of us the ability to choose wisely in these troubled times.
Please Heavenly Father, help us to stop short of the cliff. Help each of us to grow in strength in order to return this nation to Your will. Free will - the ideal of the Founders.

Great post - wonderful speech. I can see now why liberal suck-up moderators at CNN don’t ask about gun control...
The creeps at the New York Times don’t write about gun control any more either... Wonder why? Wonder how they can apply their ‘excuse’ to that and not birth control?
