Twenty-two Carnival Cruise Lines passengers were robbed of valuables and their passports during a shore excursion in the Mexico seaside resort of Puerto Vallarta, cruise officials said late Saturday. The passengers were robbed Thursday during a guided trail excursion, according to a statement released by the cruise line. The cruise line did not provide details of the robbery, saying only that there were no injuries and the tour was suspended on future sailings under further notice.

Reason #1985 why Americans should avoid going to Messico.
I wonder how much the “tour guide” got to lure the people into the Trap?(Excursion)
Passports? You don’t need no steenking passports!
LOL! Waxing serious for a second it has become obvious no sane man would tour Mexico as of now and into the near future.
I like the guy on the right who is sitting down. It’s hard to pull off a PIECE-OF-PIZZA HAT, but, by golly, he can get away with it.
Tax on stupidity?
Almost as bad as jet-skiing to a drug smuggling hub.
Stupid is what stupid does.
Carnival Cruise Line.....a little too much adventure cruising what with Italy and now this.
2 PIECES OF PEPPERONI ON THAT PIECE
I would rather fly to Florida and cruise to the Caribbean than drive 20 minutes to the San Diego cruise terminal and cruise to Messico.
Exactly. Every stupid oblivious and/or liberal American needs exactly such a wake-up call, and many need many many more, until they either learn better or obtain the natural consequences of obliviousness/liberalism. Hopefully before they visit those consequences upon the rest of us.
“I would rather fly to Florida and cruise to the Caribbean than drive 20 minutes to the San Diego cruise terminal and cruise to Messico.”
No you wouldn’t. That is just as nuts on another level.
Ports in these Caribbean islands are like stopping off in Colon, Rep of Panama. They are filthy and of no historical value.
People who go on these so called cruises go just to eat, eat, eat, and eat 24/7. It is much, much cheapter to stay home.
If I were the mayors of these towns, I'd put out a hefty bounty on the bandit's heads. No cruise lines= no dollars for the local economy.
See my post #13.
Where is the Frito Bandito when you need him??!!
The Cruise lines should ban stops at all ports in Mexico for the next few years—that land is about to blow up big time. Better yet—let the ships stop at Cuba.
I wouldn't go into Mexico if ya offered to take me in a complimentary, fully stocked stretch limo.
Stretch limo - otherwise known as a big target.
