KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) --- It's the first time republican hopeful Rick Santorum spoke in Knoxville but his supporters are already familiar with him.

Standing ovations over social issues and promises to undue what President Barack Obama has done.

Santorum is looking for a big win on super tuesday after what he considers a win in Michigan.

Despite losing the vote, he walked away from Mitt Romney's home state with the same amount of delegates (15) as his biggest opponent.

"We went into his backyard, he spent a fortune, money had no intention of spending." Santorum told us, "We are excited about what's going to happen on super tuesday."

To pick up his share of 58 delegates here he has to overcome Governor Bill Haslam's support of Romney.

He laughed off the idea that Haslam's support would slow his campaign down. "Well every endoresment there is seems to be going to Mitt Romney he told the media, "this is the establishment, that's just what happens."

So how does he seperate himself from the other republican hopefuls?

By tying in social issues to economic ones. Telling the crowd today, 'you can't seperate the two'.

He promises to repeal 'Obamacare' within his first month in office.

Says he can balance the budget in five years by cutting funding to programs that he says create dependence on government.

LOL Romney's most expensive delegates yet.

Is Google Targeting Rick Santorum?
David A. Patten 2/26/12 NewsMax

Type the word “Santorum” in Google and you won’t find his campaign website or other positive, useful information about him in the first, second or even third entries

In fact, almost every entry on the all-important first page of “Santorum” results — the one most users see — is laden with nasty, sometimes vulgar attacks

Google hired former Rep. Susan Molinari, R-NY, a staunch Romney supporter, to head its lobbying

Is Google at war with Rick Santorum?

Google employees and executives were collectively Obama’s fourth-largest donor to the Obama campaign in the 2008 cycle, contributing some $814,540 according to FEC records

Google’s anti-Santorum bias

and promises to >>> undue <<<

Where can I send my resume? Someone obviously relies overmuch on spell check.
Yes, everything O has done is undue (unless you decide it is all a judgment we deserve), but I hope we get the chance to undo it.

To pick up his share of 58 delegates here he has to overcome Governor Bill Haslam’s support of Romney

Haslam showed me all I needed to know about his thinking processes when he chose to keep Knoxville’s parks gun free, based on the premise that a future legislature could change the laws, making it even more illegal to carry a gun in them than it would be to simply keep it illegal to carry, when the state at this point in time believes it should be OK for a law abiding person to have the right to defend himself in a public park.

Did you follow all that? I am not sure I did either. Basically, he came up with a politically expedient way to keep gun owners from exercising their rights in public parks under his jurisdiction.

In any case, he is not a political thinker I would look to for guidance on whom I should be selecting as a candidate.
