The Dems are now talking about Tapping the strategic petroleum reserve and begging Saudi Arabia to open the taps on pumping more oil. Why you think this is.
There scared as hell about Newt 2.50 gas.
Even in May 2011, he couldn't resist attacking conservatives for, "right wing social engineering." I have seen people try to spin this one, but it's embarrassing. Conservative wouldn't even think of that. Why try to shiv conservatism to the media?
I can think of 100 reasons to criticize Romney from the right. Gingrich attacked him from the left, stealing anti-capitalist rhetoric straight from Mother Jones magazine. (In the 2000s, Gingrich's allies have been Al Sharpton, Barney Frank, and Nancy Pelosi. I haven't heard of him allying with ANY conservatives)
The question is, VinL, why would you vote for someone who hates you?

I didn’t know Newt hated me, he never told me!
But, my personal feelings aside, if Newt is the “socialist” you portray him to be- why did he mastermind the overthrow of Dem speaker Wright and the 40 year dominion of the Dems in 1994???
Or-was that like a clever ruse on his part, to make me think that he was a conservative— only to pop up 17 years later- become President- so he could takeover the country, and lead us the rest of the way to communism?
I have heard more bashing of Reagan by Gingrich supporters in the last 2 months, than I have heard the entire time since 1998

I have no explanation for that Nick- I guess a lot of Newt supporters (if not the majority) really hate Ronald Reagan- They must be closet socialists, just like Newt.
But, please know, I have immense respect for Pres. Reagan, and have not made one utterance against him; honest Nick, not one word.
Newt has already announced he will simply appear everywhere Obama does an hour later ... and do a point by point tear down of everything Obama said in his speech. After a few stops like this where Newt always gets the last word, Obama will stop running away from debates.
I support Gingrich and didn’t quite see post 10 have anything to do with Reagan. Maybe a little background helps on a public forum.
Great words what she has shared. Newt (American) values, Obama ( foreign country) values. With Newt, we will get it right. I can’t wait to watch him side by side to OBama. Newt will be orbits ahead of the Obama.
