Ten Indications That Obama Is Scared
American Thinker ^ | 03/01/2012 | Kevin Jackson

Posted on 03/01/2012 6:30:34 AM PST by SeekAndFind

Obama is not the cool, calm, and collected guy that he portrays publicly; he's far from it. Obama is described privately as a thin-skinned hot-head when it comes to questioning his policies, or anything else, for that matter.

Though there has been a slight shift upward in Obama's poll numbers, Obama knows the real temperature of the American people. Here are 10 indicators as to why Obama will have sleepless nights leading up to the election of 2012:

1. Obama started African Americans for Obama. When blacks supposedly voted at 95 percent for Obama in the last election, one has to question his motives in starting this group. The answer is that Obama's poll numbers among blacks have fallen back to their lowest point, a clear sign that Obama is feeling the pressure. If Obama loses his street cred amongst blacks, he will likely be abandoned by other groups. Obama must have the "race" element in 2012, even though the black vote will be much less significant in 2012. By the way, how would the media have covered "White Americans for McCain?"

I would not overlook the “thin skinned” part. Perhaps our best hope lies in provoking him into a series of public meltdowns during the campaign.

Newt is the only candidate that can produce meltdowns. Go Newt!

1. I agree.

2. I think this might be changing. Americans are deeply worried and angry. I believe they are paying attention because they are in a world of hurt and can no longer ignore what is all around them. I also believe Americans aren’t as trusting of the media as before, because they know it was the media who “presented” to them and to the world this unvetted hoaxter, BHO.

3. I pretty much agree, but I think the percentage of the black vote for BHO might be coming in a little lower this time around. I loosely base this upon the words of several black acquaintances, two of whom stated to me they won’t be voting for Obama. They’re stretching their paychecks and watching the price of gas, and I imagine some others might be disappointed their handouts weren’t all they had previously anticipated.

4. In the primaries... but, I believe, as we move closer to the general, many on the right will rally to support the chosen candidate. While I’m supporting Rick, if he doesn’t win the nomination, I will support whomever is chosen to go against Obama.

Please don’t give in or give up! I know it’s difficult, and some days are far more challenging than others. But now’s the hardest time, and we have to keep our chins up.

Yes, it’s smart and prudent to plan in the event the worst happens, but remember, there will be many surprises between now and November. Obama hasn’t won this thing. If he had, he wouldn’t waste time on fundraising and campaigning when he could be chipping away on the back nine .

This is why democrats vote for, and root for Rick Santorum

They would LOVE to run on social/sexual issues. It's their only chance.

**** FReeperland seems to be inhabited of late with keyboard "jeaniouses" who want to put there thoughts out there as "This is the truth and damn you for thinking otherwise." ****

Irony anyone?

Now, go back and read what was posted. I put out an opinion. Granted my opinion is no better, however, no worse than most you'll find posted here. And the response from the other poster was to call me names, and tell me to take my opinion to the DU.

If he had told me WHY he thought I was wrong, versus attacking me personally, then we could have had a fair exchange. At least you told me what your issue was, as you attacked me personally, even though your execution was less than perfect.

I guess I'm not the only keyboard "jeanious"?

“Please don’t give in or give up! I know it’s difficult, and some days are far more challenging than others. But now’s the hardest time, and we have to keep our chins up.”

While I have lost a great deal of respect for the American public, I haven’t given up, nor will I give up. I honestly believe the American public is dumb enough to re-elect Obama, and we are on that trajectory.

But it’s not a done deal, yet. First, Obama will get 95%+ of the black vote, but, there isn’t the enthusiasm. So, it may be 95% of 9% of the population versus 95% of 13% of the population. Same goes for the kids, the rock star mystique isn’t as strong. While many will vote for “the black guy”, a fair number won’t bother to vote at all.

Gas prices. With Steven Chu sounding off, and gas prices soaring, that could wake a few folks up. I’d like to see $6 / gallon gas, if it would get Obama out of office, it’s THAT important.

If Newt Gingrich stays on the team, he could be a very valuable tool in keeping the Obama deficiencies front and center.

I really just want to point out to the “take my ball and go home” freepers what they’re setting us up for. You know the ones... “If XXX isn’t nominated, I’m not voting!” I want them to really understand what’s going on.

You support Santorm, that’s fine. I’m a Gingrich guy. It looks like Romney will be the nominee, I’ll vote for him. And if they broker the convention, and select a pet rock, I’ll vote for it, over Obama.

Of “natural causes” ( note the quotes ). Matt Drudge better watch his back.

And Levin. And at least three Associate Justices.

Maybe Glenn Beck and El Rushbo, too.

Of course Obama’s scared. He has his own internal polling that doubtless contradicts a lot of the (Democrat-leaning) public pollsters. Like the quote ascribed to Stalin, “it’s not who votes that counts, it’s who counts the votes”, most of the public pollsters are going to give Barack an additional five percent bias factor right up until the last week or so of the election (and even the “impartial” or “Republican-leaning” pollsters will adjust their polls so as not to be dubbed, “outliers”). Let us all be happy warriors, and vote.

I will not support Romney under any condition because he is just like Obama and he has the least chance of winning.

Romney’s conservative support is limited and he brings no state major state to the table. In other words, he can’t carry the South or make up the loss of the South by carrying other states. In fact, he’ll probably do worse than McCain. At least McCain had the support of military in the South. Mr. Gays in the military Romney is no different than Obama in that regard. No Romney has ever served in the military. Not even one of his five strapping boys has even made the attempt to serve. So I doubt he will find much support from them.

Evangelicals who make up a large portion of the South don’t like him. Don’t like his forcing homosexual marriage on the people of Massachusetts, don’t like his signing the bill giving out $50.00 abortions, don’t like him doing just like Obama and forcing religious organizations to accept mandates that go against their beliefs.

Once Mr. Romney has lost the South, where can he go to get more electoral votes?

As for holding his feet to the fire, people get tired of fighting. Especially if it is your own people you are fighting. I believe that there are quite a few people who are tired of phoning and mailing and faxing but seeing nothing come of it. Congress does not listen anymore. After what happened with Obamacare, I don’t think anyone is still counting on those tactics being successful anymore.

Unfortunately for Romney, when it’s liberal vs liberal, the dependable liberal will beat out the liberal nobody trusts every single time. Run a conservative if you want to win. Romney is a guaranteed loser.

Most conservatives have become so tired of being dumped on by the GOP-E and their country club cabal that they will welcome leaving the liberal “stupid party” that has abandoned them. If you look at the way the GOP-E has rigged this election for Romney, you can just sense the bad feelings building. At least McCain was seen to have won his nomination fair and square. But there will be many people who feel Romney is no better than a democrat with his underhanded actions. So, what is most likely to happen with two liberals running is that a third party candidate will choose to run and Obama wins.

We need a conservative to win this nomination. Not a liberal like Romney.

Sorry GOP-E, anybody but Obama or his twin Obama-lite Romney is the message we need to spread. Anything else and we will surely lose.

Actually, I think “Yes We Can” has turned into “It Could Have Been Worse”.

I think it' s more like, "They won't let meeeeeeeee.... " (said with a true liberal whine).

Which means of course you will be casting a vote for Obama. Good move, ace.

As the saying goes, "The longest journey starts with but a single step". For you to believe Romney is the same as Obama makes you look pretty absurd my friend and makes you out to be not a serious person.

BTW, to be perfectly clear, I am NOT in any way a fan of Romney and he would be my last choice. But when you are drowning and all you have is one chance to save yourself you take it and hope for the best. The reason is if you DON’T take it the alternative is dying.

We know Romney very well here.

Gays in the Military loving same as Obama
Forced Gay marriage on the people of Massachusetts worse than Obama
Loves banning guns in Massachusetts same as Obama
Loves mandates and raising fees and taxes same as Obama
Romney loves Romneycare the same as Obama loves Obamacare
Signed a bill (Romneycare) forcing religious people to carry coverage counter to their beliefs same as Obama
Same bill (Romneycare) made provision for $50.00 abortions which is worse than Obama
Believes in global warming same as Obama
Believes govt is the solution same as Obama
Dislikes Ronald Reagan and his policies same as Obama

You can’t be serious if you think conservatives are going to love Romney. There are a few “republicans” like you on this site but after the disaster that was John McCain, there are quite a few conservatives here who believe no liberals no matter what party claims them.

Mitt Romney is in a worse position than McCain and he’s been bending the rules to his favor just to get to that point. We’ve seen him up close and personal because he’s been running for president since he left Massachusetts in 2006. He’s as stiff as Al Gore who he agrees with on global warming and he flip flops worse than his Massachusetts democrat buddy, John Kerry. The democrats have had five years to lay out a plan to run against him. They set up the Occupy movement precisely for that purpose.

He and his GOP-E buddies have done nothing but try to marginalize conservatives and our beliefs for years. So I guess I can say I’m not one bit surprised when you decide to print in bold letters that my positions are absurd and not serious. That is how you “party” people behave.

Welcome to Free Republic may your stay, however long, teach you something about the conservative grassroots.

...”Anybody but Obama must be the message we spread far and wide”....

Agreed. I don’t care who the GOP puts up - I will vote for him. Period.

The bottom line is: get rid of Barack Obama, at any cost, regardless of the burden.
