Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum labeled Rush Limbaugh "absurd" over disparaging remarks from the radio talk show host directed at a law student who testified before a House panel in support of access to contraceptives.
"He's being absurd, but that's you know, an entertainer can be absurd," Santorum told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Friday. "He's in a very different business than I am."

I did not like Rick S. characterizing Rush as an entertainer. That’s the word the left uses to dismiss Rush.
He is entertaining, true, but also a dispenser of truth that we seldom hear anywhere else.
Rick S. should have said that he didn’t hear the show and therefore cannot comment as he didn’t know the context in which Rush used the term.
Haven’t people learned yet not to mess with Rush?
As for the cowardly advertisers who are opting out, there will be plenty to take their place, but I do think it’s neat to drop them a note.
This contraception thing is a Very Successful ploy by Obama and his minions in the press.
Why are we talking about this?
Can no one put a stop to it. Bury it and salt the ground. It is of zero benefit to Republicans and provides a welcome distraction for Obama from all his failures and shortcomings.
Every time I resolve not to criticize Santorum any more, he does something else to irritate me.
Check back if you like and Rush may very well be gracious about it, but Rick did diss Rush by calling him an ‘entertainer’ and implying that he was nothing else.
Santorum should know that Rush is much more than just an entertainer and that Rush has been extremely kind to him.
I don’t like this kind of mealy mouth chicken s response. He should have refused to answer at all or answered very differently. He lets himself be drawn by the press into saying stupid stuff.
This kind of stupidity lowers Santorum in my eyes.

Santorum MEANT to demean him. He wanted to demean him to curry favor with liberal independants and with the state-controlled mediawhores.
Although Rush also knows how to entertain and amuse his listening audience, I consider the Maharushie to be the premier political analyst in the country today, bar none....and Rick would do well to turn his tone-deaf ear in Rush's direction more often to get up to speed.

There is not a single word in Rick’s statement with which I disagree, nor do I disagree with one utterance in Levin’s monologue last night. Some of you guys are just looking to smear Santorum, much like the left does.
