I hope she's out of Pakistan by now.

Islam cannot afford having Christians around. Muslims who feel ambivalent about Islam cannot be permitted to have anyone around whom they can ask about Christianity.

This is a sign of Islam's weakening.

This is the logical outcome for any and all religions who haven't gone through either a Reformation or Renaissance.

If you closely read the history of Europe using primary sources you will discover similar and worse cases in Spain, France, England, Poland, and elsewhere. Or, you can watch the various “Joan of Arc” movies.

Will Islam ever change? Ask me that question again in a couple of hundred years. Personally, I wouldn't bet the farm on its changing.
