SHOCKING: One of the most offensive things we have seen in politics! (TPX-Wisconson)

If you are offended easily, do not read this!

We had an eventful day in Wisconsin between braving an old fashioned mid-west snow storm and debating Wisconsin Democratic Party communications director Graeme Zalinski.

Between the two, we are still trying to figure out which one blew the most air.

We have been warning you that our opposition in the Recall can not stand on the facts because the truth is not on their side. The only thing that they can resort to is banging pots and pans and screaming their tired stereotypes and lies.

But even we were shocked by the behavior and disrespect that Wisconsin Democratic Party communications director Graeme Zalinski showed to our chairman Amy Kremer on Wisconsin Public Television's Here and Now.

The lies that he said were offensive, but the condescending way in which he said it was even worse - video to come shortly.

Here are a few samples that give you a taste of his rude behavior and lies:

"Its shocking that this governor would embrace these out-of-state corporate extremists like the Tea Party, people with southern drawls from confederate states (a reference to Amy being from Atlanta)"

When Amy was asked a question by the moderator and it was her turn to speak, he just kept yelling:

"Well Yee-haw"

"Get out of our state, get out of our state!"

We have seen some heated debates about ideology, but never have we seen someone that claims to be a professional act so immaturely, offensively and with such a lack of respect for another human.

After his performance on the program, things got worse when he went to Twitter and said:

Many do not think the lib left establishment will let go of power if they lose at the ballot box. Some sort of violent reaction especially in states with a strong industrial union presence is not unlikely. Refusing to leave office, chaining oneself to the radiators while hundreds of drunken union goons armed with bats and steel lag ends surround government offices defying anyone to oust the ‘people's friends’ and the lamestreams giving it sympathetic coverage might be a starter.

“However, do you agree there is a war going on - a cultural war”?

Absolute agreement, It appears we may have a little disagreement on the “field of battle”.

The principle behind FB and twitter just leaves me speechless. inane attempts at one sided conversation faceless horn tooting, and the ability to say anything particularly disgusting without thinking about consequences.

I have a problem with drive through banking, much less any of the other ideas of faceless interaction/transaction I don’t do faceless banking.

I believe FR was way ahead of its time, where one can have a learning experience while engaged in faceless conversation. Twitter and FB and the other “social networking” sites IMHO bastardized the process, and began appealing to the masses as a business model using the same folks addicted (so to speak) to texting. Faceless conversation.

Yea, I’m probably showing my age, but I’m also sure there are plenty of folks of a much younger age willing to call social networking their battle field, saving me from having to consider it. Texting to me is the last ditch, low battery, personal locator for one stuck in a blizzard, with just enough signal for texting but not enough for voice reception.
