WASHINGTON (AP) -- Newt Gingrich says he has no doubts that the Republican presidential candidates who fall short of winning the nomination will unite behind the eventual nominee - despite the often tough rhetoric the contenders are throwing at each other during the campaign.

I doubt Romney would have the good sense to put her on the ticket but count me in as one who will write in Sarah if he doesn’t. I’m sure she’ll get tons of votes from people like me.

The difference is the Tea Party. Trying to wrestle control from the GOP establishment. My hope is that by 2016, TP candidates elected in 2010 or 2012 will have a record to run on. If Obama is re-elected, I don’t know what will be left by 2016. At the very least, he will have installed more Supreme Court justices which will take a generation to change. I’m going to do all I can to see he is not re-elected.

“I take it you’d prefer 4 more years of obama than a rino we can keep on a short leash then?”

Nope. I don’t see it as a binary choice.

I take it you are a Romney supporter?

I am not arguing with you that Obama is bad for the military. That would require an IQ lower than a turnip. Of course you are correct.

What I AM saying is that when you made the statement

“...“be a party to leaving our troops in a war zone w/Obama as their Commander in Chief.”

You were actually alluding to NOT voting for the GOP as being “... party to leaving our troops in a war zone w/Obama as their Commander in Chief.”

What you just did was “...condemn those who refuse to vote for Romney”

Which you started out by saying you wouldn’t do.

And THAT is what I was referring to as “make up your mind”.

For the record: I won’t be a party to Obama getting reelected either since I won’t vote for the bastard.

“...you choose to do nothing because your horse lost the primary race, you’ve as good as voted Obama yourself. “

How about if I choose not to vote for Romney because he is a leftist, pro-death, pro socialized medicine, pro big government, unqualified idiot?

It has nothing to do with any particular “horse” not being the candidate. It has to do with Romney.

“And there is no rationalization not to vote for romney if he is the nominee.”

You have got to be kidding me.

Folks, rarely is a national candidate chosen based principally on their position on the issues. Maybe never.

Which is why I said there aren't enough conservatives in the party to get a conservative nominee. If you're voting for Romney because you think something other than conservative issues are the most important factor, such as a person's past relationship with his family, then you're not a conservative as far as I'm concerned. You might be a "family values" voter, but that is not the same as being a conservative.

Hey, if we elect Mittwit, he would probably give us another Earl Warren or William Brennan or Herod Blackmun or Warren Burger or Lewis Powell or John Paul Stevens or Sandra Day O’Connor or Swish Souter as SCOTUS nominees!!! Aren’t you just proud to be a Republican when you review the records of those SCOTUS appointments? Sort of like the judicial appointments he made as Taxachusetts governor and all purpose amoral marshmallow obsessed only with the family trust funds. What is worse is that if Mittwit the Serial Liar names them, the GOP Senators (none too sound in the first place) will roll over and play dead for “Republican nominees!” Muffy and Skipper and the gang down at the polo club (yacht club, Junior League, whatever) would be soooooo thrilled!!!!

See #197.

If we are going to organize here and fight against the GOP-E, we need a separate ping list. I am rapidly aging and technologically illiterate and use my computer only as a fancy typewriter. I will keep asking until someone more savvy than I takes me up on this.

Meanwhile, thanks for your kind words.

Fractured logic???? Prove it! Specifics please other than the tired old: If you don't vote Republican the boogie man will getcha! Mittwit is every bit the boogieman that Obozo is but more polo club friendly.

House-Senate-Presidency in 2012??? We have the House courtesy not of the GOP-E but of the Tea Party and social conservatives. Castrated Boehner and castrated Cantor and castrated McCarthy spend most of their time cowering in their offices whipping the principles out of the freshmen, threatening them unless they fall into line with the agendas of Obozo and Reid. A Senate Majority run by castrated McConnell and including such stellar Demonrats in GOP drag as LAMAR!!!!, Corker, Nancyboy Kirk, Susan Collins, Scott Brown, Richard (START II TREATY) Lugar, Lisa Murkowski, and numerous other babykillers, marriage destroyers, gun grabbers, tax hikers and elitist snobocrats will simply be a lottery every time a controversial vote ciomes up allowing just enough defections so that we can lose and such idiots posing as Republicans can keep on being invited to the best lobbyists' cocktail parties and given the best checks as payoffs by those lobbyists to sell us out. Mittens is no better than Obozo in GOP drag. If you liked TARP and porkulus and Roe vs. Wade and gay everything you will just adore the Mittwit. Mittwit could also get a coveted Lifetime Oscar next year for best Serial Liar in American politics. Now, THERE is an accomplishment but nothing more than the lying twit deserves. He's slaved all his life for it and he deserves it.

If you think #115 is passionate, just nominate Mittwit to see just how passionate I will be for his defeat.

I sincerely do not believe Romney can win. Even if he did, he will not be a strong Commander in Chief.

His family all the way back 170 years hasn't had a single male member serve in the military...imagining Romney would never let this nation defend itself if it ment war is enough to bring nightmares!
