GOP will unite—

GOP perhaps; but not conservatives if it’s Romney.

Exactly!

The GOP establishment has already placed themselves behind Romney in an effort to show how severe they are.

"GOP perhaps; but not conservatives if it’s Romney."

Honestly I don't believe that will happen to a great extent.

While passions are high now and there's plenty of hurt feelings to go around (let me testify!), I don't see many conservatives deliberately handing the election to Obama. Sure, some will stay home and some will vote only down ticket or write somebody in...but most will dutifully pull that GOP lever no matter the name next to it.

You are exactly right. The GOP does not speak for Conservatives.

I will not support Romney. If voters reject the only candidate with solid solutions, Newt Gingrich, then we will all have to suffer the consequences of their folly.

I will not, however, be told that I have to accept and vote for Mitt Romney. I don’t see a lot of difference between him and the current disaster in the White House.

I’m a conservative, therefore, I WILL NOT vote for Romney!

GOP perhaps; but not conservatives if it’s Romney.I think you're wrong here. The largest and most united constituency in the republican party is the ABOers.

No way in 40 hells I vote for Willard the establishment liberal. I stay home and drink beer on election night if this worthless piece of cow manure goes up against Obama.

Most self-described conservative will fall in line including the loudmouths on talk radio.

I detest Romney but if you're in a state where your vote can stop Obama and you choose to do nothing because your horse lost the primary race, you've as good as voted Obama yourself.
