Will Bibi break Obama?
World Net Daily ^ | 3/4/12 | Patrick J. Buchanan

The prime minister of Israel is angry with Barack Obama and is coming here to force a hardening of U.S. policy toward Iran.

“Bibi” Netanyahu had his anger on display at a meeting in Israel with Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham.

Ads by Google A 9mm is False Protection Discover What Survivalist Masters & The Army Don't Want You To Know www.CloseCombatTraining.comMcCain emerged saying he had never seen an Israeli prime minister “that unhappy.” “He was angry,” said McCain. “I’ve never seen U.S.-Israel relations at this point.”

“The Israelis are unnerved,” said Graham. “They think the administration is sending the wrong signal, and so do I.”

What has so enraged Netanyahu? The Obama policy of tightening sanctions on Iran while holding out the opportunity for Tehran to negotiate and provide guarantees that its nuclear program is not aimed at an atomic bomb.

The U.S. intelligence community unanimously believes that Iran is some time away, perhaps years, from being able to produce a nuclear weapon and has not made the command decision to build one.

Israel retorts that Iran is entering a “zone of immunity,” when Israel will lack the ability to attack and abort Iran’s nuclear program, as new nuclear sites are being moved underground. Netanyahu’s government is also angry at what it sees as U.S. leaders’ distancing themselves from Israel.

When that fifth Iranian nuclear scientist was assassinated and Tehran accused America and Israel of complicity, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton denounced the murder, leaving Israel as prime suspect.

HIs best bet is to play it close to the vest and not tell Hussein anything.

Hussein is NOT to be trusted.

Why don’t we just cut the nonsense and make them the 51st state of the United States. We are supporting them anyway. Now at least they would be part of our country and sending money for their survival would be beneficial to them and us.

The Leader of the Free World has to deal with a putz like Obama. Good luck, Bibi.

Bibi is no fool and knows he is dealing with a liar who would betray Israel at the drop of a Yarmulke...

When Obama and Netanyahu meet, Netanyahu will be the only grown-up in the room; that much is certain.

Bibi’s in a damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t situation.

Israel has a lot of defense stuff that’s maintained only at the pleasure of Washington. Bibi shouldn’t have to worry about that, but unfortunately it’s on his plate whether he wants it or not.

Seeing Hussein shamed before the whole world.....Yes!

But then, he doesn't care ....we need to remove him by impeachment.

Israeli Intelligence is the envy of the rest of the world. If they say Iran is close, then I believe it. Our “stuff” coming out of the CIA sounds more like political talking points than real intelligence... but what do I know.

Your comment is ridiculous .... You act as though Israel is merely a puppet on a string beholden to the USA for it’s survival.....nothing could be further from the truth....

it’s an interesting thought - would be OK if it was any other country other than Israel. But since it’s Israel, I can’t picture it; plus I don’t think Israel would like the idea anyway. And how could they have the freedom to defend themselves at will... Well... Y’know, it’s funny, they sometimes act like they are holding back just because the US [or UN?!] is trying to hold them back; so in that sense, they sometimes _seem_ to act like a 51st state. Er, 58th?

The U.S. intelligence community unanimously believes...

Now, why doesn't starting a statement with that phrase reassure me?

I'm not convinced the US even has an "intelligence community", and if we do, one that functions at an effective level. Remember, all of these agencies have been instructed to ignore Middle Easterners and Muslims as potential terrorists. And the Democrats have destroyed our human intelligence resources, thinking we can do everything with satellites and drones.

There is also good reason to be concerned that our agencies are becoming primarily tools for domestic surveillance of US citizens, not foreign provocateurs.

Boy, what a surprise! Pat Buchanan taking the position of an Aryan nation. If a mushroom cloud rises over Tel Aviv Mr. Buchanan will have a lot of explaining to do which would be pretty ironic given how much he brings his religious views into his beliefs. Or does Catholic ideology view Israel’s role differently from Christianity?

I hope that Obama makes the right decision Monday. We could all pay dearly and we all need to pray for Obama mainly on Monday. God Bless America.

well I mean, every once in a while, it almost “seems” as if Israel is holding back, just because the US is trying to get them to hold back. But they shouldn’t. ... There was even a time when France said something — that was none of France’s business to say anything! I mean, that’s what I thought at the time. Like, why should Israel’s govt. listen to anything that France wants to say about their conduct? But the US is _supposed_ to be an ally; I don’t know about France.
