Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told President Obama that Israel would decide for itself whether to strike Iran.
“My supreme responsibility as prime minister of Israel is to ensure that Israel remains the master of its fate,” Netanyahu told Obama.
In a sit-down earlier today with the president in the Oval Office, Netanyahu pushed back against the administration’s repeated attempts to dissuade Israel from attacking Iran.
“Israel must reserve the right to defend itself and after all, that’s the very purpose of the Jewish state to, restore to the Jewish people control of our destiny,” said Netanyahu, who is meeting with the president in advance of his speech later today before the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s annual policy conference.
Israel reserves the right to strike Iran if need be, Netanyahu said.
Obama, in a speech to AIPAC on Sunday morning, chastised those engaged in “loose talk of war” with Iran and urged for a policy of diplomacy towards Iran, which continues to enrich uranium and is suspected of clandestinely building a nuclear weapon.
The administration has also been pressuring Israel to hold off on an attack against Iran’s nuclear sites, arguing that economic sanctions require time to take hold.
AIPAC Executive Howard Kohr flatly rejected this assumption earlier today, when he told conference delegates that the U.S. “must increase the pressures on the mullahs to the point where they fear failure to comply will lead to their downfall.”
Israel will strike at a time and place of it’s own choosing.

Now Israel not only has to plan a very difficult and complex strike on Iran, they also have to plan The Mother of All Distractions to keep Barry and the boys occupied long enough so that he won’t blow them in.
I just CAN’T WAIT to see what that turns out to be.
Enjoyed it when he said to the world that the Muslims view America (Obama) as the big satan and Israel as the little satan, but that they were both one and the same. Obama was cringing.

Israel is gonna have to go it along here. American leadership of course must bless Israel’s attempts to preserve itself-even though we know Obama wont really do any such thing. But America cannot be launching a war with Iran over the neeed to protect Israel-any Democrat or Republican leader who tried that would forfeit any chance whatsoever of relection. Israel has to get it done on her own. And the strike will likely have to be done efficiently and as effecitvely as possible, only targetting the nuke sites and nothing else, like they did with Iraq, but it would have to be even more slick this time.
Incidentally, here were some accidents in Iran’s nuke facilities that were never fully explained so perhaps they have already made succesfully strikes against Iran’s nukes and in short order will be launching more of said strikes.

Why should Bibi inform Obama of any strike, knowing Obama would simply inform the Iranians of it so they can prepare to defend themselves from it?
I hope Bibi takes Obama and his fellow fascists to the cleaners.

Netanyahu has been saying this for many years, at least back when George W. Bush was president, and possibly back to Clinton's days if not earlier.
I'm fairly sure I remember the Iranians calling America the “Great Satan” all the way back when Jimmy Carter was president, but that was long ago and maybe my memory is flawed.
Moderate Muslims may be nice people, but the Islamofascists who rule much of the Middle East are sworn enemies of America and American values. The main difference between America and Israel is the Israelis understand what they're fighting and too many of our people don't.
Let's give credit where credit is due, however... at least President Obama told the Iranians that he'll act if they go nuclear. It would be nice if he would do more, but my guess is he's given the Iranians a clear warning that Israel has the green light to go ahead since Obama knows Netanyahu is a credible threat.
More effective than taking out the plants, is the “sudden deaths” of several Iranian nuclear scientists!
Cringe away, he hasn't got the balls to try to actually stop Bibi (except for warning Iran if Bibi were foolish enough to tell O the real plan) and what a position the little twit will be in WHEN not IF Bibi does what needs to be done.
He looks like the weak sister he is if he objects and whines after the fact, and he will look ridiculous if he tries to take credit for it afterward as everyone knows his real position.
Everyone that is except for his fellow jihadis who will then truly see him as an apostate. Go Bibi!
I wouldn't mind if Bibi played with the twit a couple times by telling him 'it's a go tonight' and then not doing anything--as long as he finally does it and does NOT tell Hussein.
