What is now clear is that there are no nuanced choices in the Rush vs. Fluke fiasco the Left has created. What is now playing out has nothing to do with civil discourse and everything to do with politics and the left's 30 or more years long war to destroy conservatives and thereby conservatism in America.
It's also critical to understand that what we are seeing is the left's use of social media to make objections to all things Republican and especially Conservative appear to be far more substantial than they actually are. We can not afford to let them play that game, while we sit idly and watch. You'll find what you need beginning on page 3 of this AmSpec item: Rally for Rush. Do not kid yourself that this is about Rush Limbaugh. The people, ideology and political party that is targeting him today will eventually do much worse to you if they ever succeed in breaking down and through our various and various kinds of leaders.

We can not simply sit on our hands as they seek to silence another one through a vicious and dishonest smear campaign. Breitbart’s dead (assassination is not out of the realm of possibility). Taking Rush down before the election heats up is all part of the Game Plan. IMPERATIVE: Silence the voices that are out there exposing Barry Soetoro and his Gang of Thugs.

I don’t know why this guy’s got his undies in a bunch, but I could care less about complaining to these advertisers - and neither could Rush. Evidently he didn’t listen to what Rush had to say - they have done very well by advertising on his show, they have every right to take their business elsewhere, they are leaving at their own peril and they will be replaced.
There is no “Standing with Rush” because Rush isn’t in this fight.
They don’t care about your email protest or threat. There is only one factor they care about and that is the bottom line. Don’t like ‘em? Don’t buy their products. End of story.

It's not about the advertisers. It's not even directly about Rush. If the leftists can effectively silence Rush, what do you think they will do next? Go away happily? Of course not. They want this to snowball and take down every Conservative that they can. That includes you.

I have to agree with what you say. Rush has already moved on and told it like it is. These companies will suffer. Getting ugly, sending emails is all moot at this point.
What is driving this now is Rush’s calm demeanor, making jokes about cancelling his own company’s sponsorship etc. That is making the left absolutely apoplectic. Why Rush should have just curled up and died after these sponsors caved. Not going to happen. lol!
As long as Rush is fine with it I think we should just enjoy the show. We need to challenge the kooks that are running rampant though. I still believe there are more of us than them; time for us to start introducing ourselves to the left.

Like I said in other posts - take note of these folks and if you can find another business to give you money to, do it. Those that continue to cave to liberal causes are not your friends.
I’m sure the 7 advertisers will want to come back once they see their bottom line shrink, and Rush should charge them more for advertisement when they do! (Provided there’s room for them anymore!) I hope Shari’s Berries has the cohones not to abandon Rush (unlike the 7 other weenies). I’d be totally bummed and disappointed in them if they did.

Maybe it’s time to create a new category accessible to all. A list of those companies that decide to NOT advertise on shows because of liberal pressures and a list of those that continue to ignore the liberal propaganda. Heck, maybe just a list of categories and conservative entries that we can access.
I think that it would be of great benefit to all and maybe alleviate some of the pressure that liberals and the media bring to bear.
