"I'm worried about this campaign. Too ugly. I really don't like it, and I think it's too bad, very much, for Mitt Romney," Former First Lady Barbara Bush said on FOX News' "The Five" today.

"I think it's been the worst campaign I've ever seen in my life," she said.

Bush and her husband, former President George H. W. Bush have endorsed Mitt Romney for the nomination.

"I'm worried about this campaign because it's too ugly. I really don't like it. And I think it's too bad and I'm very much for Mitt Romney, as is I guess my husband. I'm endorsing him for George, but … there I go again," Bush told FOX News.

Your boy STARTED the ugliness, Babs.

Out of touch, as usual.

Uh, MEMO to Barbara: YOUR guy started it. YOUR guy has done the most of it. YOUR guy has spent the most money doing it. YOUR GUY is to blame.

Got it? Thank you. Now, please return to enjoying a lavish lifestyle that we all get to pay for.

Her man Mittens with his scorched earth policy has been one of the main reasons.

Backstabber ROMNEY attacked Gov. Palin
on the EVE of Election 2008 to throw the election.

FLASHBACK:

The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts
in some polls, days prior to Election 2008.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney and
TeamROMNEY and the RNME (Republican National Media Establishment)
decided …to attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008.

Romney, and the Van der Sloot RNME RINOs for Obama in 2008

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
… aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off ….hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

I always thought McCrap ran a dirty campaign against her son by saying he was anti Catholic. Someone needs to make sure she’s on her meds.

If I never hear the names Bush or Clinton again it will be too soon. How can we miss them if they won’t go away?

Then WHY IN THE HECK ARE YOU ENDORSING AND ROBO-CALLING FOR THE ONE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE WHO WAS THE WORST, THE ABSOLUTE WORST IN THIS SEASON IN TERMS OF SCURRILOUSLY ATTACKING OTHER REPUBLICANS and creating great ill will that may never heal. Go back to retirement ya' old bag.

Somehow I’m thinking the First Lady is leading up to suggesting ... Jeb ... would be the solution.

I’ll pre-empt that a transparent agenda, by suggesting Governor Palin would be a far more formidable candidate to emerge from a brokered convention.

Back to you, Mrs. Bush.

Yeah, when I see Barbara Bush’s name, the first thing that now comes to mind is her telling Palin to basically stay the hell up in Alaska. She and her whole GOP-e ilk stood by for years, not lifting a finger to protest, when Palin and her family were savaged in the most outlandishly vicious ways. And NOW, Barbara Bush complains of “ugliness” in the campaign?? She and all her worthless, backstabbing, GOP-e country-clubbers can just go to hell!

Because of GWB we got BHO.

Thanks, Mrs. Bush.

PS: She thinks this campaign is rough? Evidently, Mrs. Bush hasn’t done a lot of reading. I guess she isn’t familiar with the election of 1860?

You want brutal, ma’am? THAT was brutal.

YEAH AND IT’S BECAUSE MITT OF MITT ROMNEY’S “SCORCHED EARTH” TACTICS! How Ironic. The Tea Party ruined everything for the e-Republicans. Good, I hope they lose.

A Jeb Bush candidacy - too depressing to contemplate.

I wonder how much pull the Bush family has inside the party anymore.

Regardless if there is a brokered convention, a candidate WILL be picked from one of the four candidates in the race today.

The most likely outcome will be Romney's but boy Ron Paul moving his delegates to Romney for the inclusion of his son Rand as a VP Candidate,

The same could happen with Gingrich and Santorum pledging their delegates to Romney or a decision to join their delegates with one as Presidential candidate and the other as VP candidate. No way will the delegates allow for an outside candidate to swoop in and capture the nomination, nor should they.

Typical clueless RINO. She just doesn’t get it. Thankfully, there were no comprimises at Valley Forge, or we wouldn’t even be here.

I miss the tradition of ex Presidents and their wives going away quietly after they have left office. The Bushes have had their day in the sun. Keep out the Bushes.

She conveniently forgets the negative campaign her husband and his minions ran against Reagan in 1980. “Voodoo economics”, “we can’t afford to have his finger on the nuclear trigger” and the “he’s too conservative to be electable” mantra. The Republican patricians certainly stick up for each other...
