Dane County Circuit Judge David Flanagan, who granted a temporary injunction against Wisconsin's new voter identification law, signed a petition urging the recall of Gov. Scott Walker.

His clerk called back to say Flanagan would only answer questions submitted in writing at the courthouse.

State Republican Party spokesman Ben Sparks said his party will be filing a complaint with the state Judicial Commission asking it to investigate why Flanagan did not recuse himself.

"The very fact that Dane County Judge David Flanagan signed a petition to recall Governor Walker calls today's court proceedings regarding Wisconsin's voter ID law into question," Sparks said in a statement. "To make matters more troubling, Judge Flanagan also lists Melisa Mulliken, a longtime adviser to Kathleen Falk, as his campaign manager on his offical campaign web page."

Maistelman noted that in this case, Walker was being sued in his official capacity as governor, not as a political candidate. The same holds true for the members of the Government Accountability Board.

"They are not being sued because of who they are individually," Maistelman said. "They're being sued because of what they represent. That's the distinction."

How fine of him.

“Recuse is what should have happened before taking the case let alone issuing a ruling”

The problem is that when you take an issue like this up on appeal, you run into the same kind of left wing $hitballs that handled the case in the first place. I just hope that this guy is turned out of office, but I suspect that he’s located where the RATs are in the majority and will probably get to stay on. There certainly is little or no honor in the judicial system anymore.

Mark Belling warned us months ago, that things passed by the legislature in WI, will be taken through the liberal courtrooms of Madison.

He was right.

The news of this today made me sick.

We are living in a judicial tyranny.

I hate it.

Well, according to Locke, once we see that things are going in a direction that will make us slaves of the state and stealing our property the state loses its legitimacy and the people are warranted in overthrowing it by any means necessary.

Democracy, representative democracy or whatever one calls it, is dying away very rapidly. The unions and the Democrat Socialist Workers Party now rule.

Just the typical and usual leftist corruption. Nothing new here. And we all know that lefties never EVER recuse themselves when a conflict of interest or worse has become obvious or been uncovered.

Looks like it’s heading that way.

This liberal hack judge is making JFK’s quote get closer to reality.

“Those who make peaceful change impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.”

I heard one spec of good news about this today on Mark Belling’s show. He said WI AG Van Hollen is appealing the hack judge’s ruling to an appeals court. At first Mark said that would do no good because that court would be in Dane Co. and stacked with liberals. However, he later corrected himself and said that since Gov. Walker took office, a bill was passed that allowed appeals to be outside of Dane County. So there is some hope that AG Van Hollen can get this overturned on appeal outside of Dane Co.

Maybe Judge Flanagan will now claim his signature was fraudulently obtained...

Yea, that's a tactic they can use.

Here's a "thousand" words on that subject (public information):
