As of this writing:
Gingrich 48
Santorum 24
Romney 21
Paul 5
Go Newt!!
For those who want to know, Georgia has 76 delegates.
Winning one state tonight, his home state at that, will not cut it.
End of the road.
Third in OK and TN and OH.
Santorum will hopefully win all three.
Newt will be the next prez. yeah right.
You also said he wouldn’t win Georgia. Ha.
They’ve called Oklahoma for Santorum.
We did our part in Walker County.
I don’t know where you get those numbers. According to wiki:
mitt 196
rick 78
ronpaul 56
newt 51
newt in last place.
He will never get the Newt votes. People see him as an opportunist and plenty of dems are voting for him.
Romney will benefit.
I talked to a lot of people who said they preferred Gingrich, but would vote for Santorum to halt Romney. I wonder if there were enough of those ‘scared’ people who could have put Gingrich on top in Ohio? We will never know, and people will have their opinions, and I’m waiting for the onslaught of folks telling me how stupid I am. LOL!
I never said such a thing. It was obvious he would win. And this will be most likely the last.
Then so be it.
End of the road for Newt.
And that’s all he’s gonna win. he is doing ONE thing and one thing only ... ensuring we get Romney as the nominee.
Santorum 2012
Newt trailing badly in Tn.
I’ve been saying Newt should drop out for weeks.
Time for him to go back to Fannie Mae and hustle the tax payers some more.
Agreed. Newt is getting crushed everywhere else tonight and in embarrassing fashion. 14% in Ohio. 17% in Tennessee. 4% in Massachusetts so far. Not even on the ballot in Virginia.
Don't shoot the messenger but this is the end of the line for Newt. Expect him to drop out later this week.
Where is that asteroid we were promised anyway?
