You know in a way were were ultimatly hurt by Kinzinger beating Halvorsen. If she had won they wouldn’t have been able to eliminate that district. They’d have had to make it safer for her which would have hurt their plans to get rid of Biggert’s seat.

Well Drudge’s 8th grade math teacher should be sickened. Romney hasn’t won yet. Santorum can still stop him.

Senator Sanctimonious was up 18-points in OH just a week ago. When the dust cleared he failed.
Worse, not only did he fail to “win” but he still didn’t get the delegates he could’ve because of campaign incompetence and an inability to get a slate together and the paperwork done.

Newt stepped aside in Michigan, another huge lead Rick ultimately blew, and did the same in Ohio. Both times Santorum ultimately failed to beat Romney.

Your first two words belie your intent. If you were so for Santorum, instead of accusing his ‘failing’....how much did you donate to his campaign???

Nah, it wasn’t about that, it was about running him down. Do they pay you to do that?

Oh and you believed the ‘up 18 points just a week ago!’, meme?

Are you a citizen? I shall call you citizen sanctimonious.

Drudgereport is back on my bookmarks.

Andrew Breitbart was closely associated with Matt Drudge.

My respect for Breitbart trumps my opposition to Romney.

RIP Breitbart.

Newt like several other candidates did not have a ground game going to get him qualified. I knew that but the pint is he didn’t(couldn’t) win there.

I do not under estimate Newt. I already said he is my preferred candidate.....And we will see eventually what happens. My only comment was about how hard his task is

I agree with your comment “Romney has ruined what should have been positive campaigns by all of our candidates about ideas and real solutions.”

I fear O and his minions more than I hate any Republican potential candidate

Nah, they would have drawn a Dem CD for Halvorson by adding Dem parts of Biggert’s IL-13. It would have pissed off Jesse Jr., since he wouldn’t get Joliet and his black percentage would drop, and the Dems running against Biggert wouldn’t have a CD in which to run, but it wouldn’t have cost the Dems any seats.

“Sickening. What a mixed-up, muddled-up, shook-up world of politics........ “

I’m convinced it’s all engineered. This is the way “THEY” want it to be...No super power. No dominant economy...just a bunch of “manageable” Countries to deal with...I mean control.

In the 2006 primary, when I lived in North Chicago, the election judge didn’t ask which ballot I wanted. About 90% of the voters, in that precinct, are black, and the judge must have assumed that I wanted a democrat ballot. I asked for a republican ballot, and she gave me a democrat ballot. I gave it back and said, “I asked for a republican ballot.” She said, “I don’t know if we got any republican ballots.” She looked for about a minute, and she found one.

Mike Gallagher is in the same boat as Mark Levin.

Maybe one good side effect with the rumored Democrat crossover voting that might have helped Santorum is that the GOP-E might get the primaries closed next time. Of course that doesn’t help if the state comes down with RINO fever and/or conservatives can’t coalesce around the best conservative.

I still see Judy winning the 11th. I don't think Soros will spend much money on that district considering he is going to have to give his billions to Zero.

Would be nice to have a conservative knock off Lipinski in my new 3rd though :)

I work, part-time, for the Alliance for Self-Governance. I go to homes, in the 11th Congressional District, and conduct surveys, to ask voters whether they’ll vote, in the primary. I give them literature that asks voters to vote in the republican primary. The ASG executives hope that, if that district has a high republican turnout, Cunningham will defeat Biggert.

Lol @ Falcon Party. Nevertheless, with regard to the GOP - keep trusting the same people, expect the same results. Year after year after year.

It’s the same sort of thing that happened to the Whig party, which was basically the RINOs of their day. You don’t see a lot of Whigs around these days, do you?

Social Conservatism will be the core of the republican party. If not, it will become the core of whatever new party gets formed.

A hilarious and sad anecdote.

If worse came to worse you could have voted with computer thing but I wonder what the protocol was in the olden days if they couldn’t find a Republican ballot.
