Serious Question - I'm getting ready to drywall my garage. If I put large sheets of aluminum screens up before the drywall, would that give me 'tempest' like protection?
The 'boss' thinks i'm crazy - she always does ...

Connect them all and ground it will probably offer some protection.
However, you'll still die when the starving masses arrive.

I’m assuming that my tinfoil hat will be all the protection I will require to avoid sunburn, and Im also assuming that you don’t spend much time bar hopping in the Boston area.. Do you Bill?

My neighbor has barbed wire around his field. I suspect it is a FEMA concentration camp.

My house is metal-lathe and plaster on the interior walls and I have a heck of a time getting cell phone connection and/or using wireless phone inside the house

This article states that a glancing blow is possible tomorrow or the day after but I’d read something this morning that said the ejections directly aimed at earth. Coud be an interesting couple fo days...I’d like to see the aurora borealis from my front yard.

A, B, C, M and X. The A-class flares are the weakest sun storms, while the X-class events are the most powerful solar flares. If we've had three X-class storms already this year, it would seem that the highest level on the scale is far too common to record truly extraordinary events.

Shiny side out, to reflect; shiny side in to cook.
Maybe kill two birds, and use foil-faced insulation. The shiny side of it, though would go to the inside to retain heat, so it would have to be installed backwards to have the shiny side out.
In any case, don't forget the lead copper shingles, and run a ground cable.
