I’m hopeful that this is an explainable incident. Our soldiers are very well trained, but that some crack under the nutty ROE and the fact that any action they take against a wily and pernicious enemy may end in court martial is wholly believable as well.
The best case result of our “nation-building” efforts among the practitioners of Islam is that Islam in its Wahhabist or Salafist form is incompatible with liberty as understood and practiced in America.
