Whatever happened to “States’ Rights?”

About the only one left today is your ‘right’ to send to DC your tax dollars.......

Interestingly enough the piece of legislation known as the Voting Rights Act was signed into law by Texan Lyndon Baines Johnson in 1965.

Joe died at 48 years old in 1957, that was just 2 years after Edward R. Murrow assassinated Joe’s career and person. That put an end to shining a spotlight on the infiltration of the communists.

He was best friends with Joe and John Kennedy. Both were very anti-communist. Five years after Tail Gunner Joe died of liver failure, JFK was assassinated. I think that was the event that marked the end of the Democratic party as a legitimate constitutionally based party.

Shortly thereafter LBJ took their first step toward socialism and communism with his “Great Society” or “Great Socialism Plan”.

Hell, LBJ just screwed with the election results the old-fashioned way. Here is Wikipedia's brief description of a three-volume examination of LBJ's career by Robert Caro (a forth volume to be released this year):
The Years of Lyndon Johnson

Caro's books portray Johnson as alternating between scheming opportunist and visionary progressive. Caro argued, for example, that Johnson's victory in the 1948 runoff for the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate was achieved through extensive fraud and ballot stuffing.
