I beg to differ... it's not the same. First, the only reason Santorum did as well as he did in Michigan is that he appealed to democrat cross-overs who WILL NOT vote for him in the General. The same goes for Romney... he does well in the states that are Purple to Blue, but seriously doubt he'll be able to clinch them in the General. I honestly do not believe that you will see Massachusetts go red on election night in November.
