A clearly miffed Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) called on Newt Gingrich and other Republican presidential candidates Tuesday to temper their remarks on U.S. military involvement in Afghanistan, warning they run the risk of dividing the GOP and emboldening the Taliban.

Graham, a vocal defender of military action in Afghanistan and previous operations in Iraq, said he was “very disappointed” with the former House speaker’s recent comments that the United States no longer has “the willpower or the capacity to do the things you have to do to fundamentally change” Afghanistan.

“Yep...and Linds has said that the plan to take out Newt was started in his office! It’s clear that he wants RINO Romney as President so he can be AG because he is toast(as a Senator) in 2014!”

You can say that again, Brother. And he KNOWS it.

“Send Lightloafered Lindsey over to A-stan.

Let him patrol the place until all the savages see the light.”

Wanna see how fast a “lightloafer” can run ?

The critical question is, What possible “job” could we hope to “finish” in Afghanistan at this point? Our work there is done. We have nothing left to accomplish. We should call it a day and bring the troops home.

I’ll say that I’ve been about an 80% Bush 43 fan. I’ve disagreed with his NCLB, amnesty and nation building.

There is NO reason for the US to spend hundreds of billions of dollars and blood to attempt to change the cultures of foreign countries! Stay out of the notion of trying to take “democracy” to foreign countries that don’t necessarily seek such. Leave them alone to govern as they wish.

Likewise, get the hell out of the United Nations and get the United Nations out of the US! The UN is now nothing but a farce and yet the US is paying about 25-30% of its operating costs. Stop it!

Also, adopt Rick Perry’s idea of zero based foreign aid and don’t give any to a country that has a regime or philosophy that is anti-America or anti-Israel.

A very large portion of the monetary savings from such actions could be used to significantly reduce the national deficit and ensure we have a viable military.

Sorry for the long ramble, but I just couldn’t stop.

The elite are not going to permit any job to be completed in Afghanistan from an American-American point of view. Before we get out, we will have progressed to demand the conversion of US soldiers to Islam. They’ll have the women in burkas.
