GOP leadership drops the ball on Fast and Furious(gunwalker)

When it comes to gun walking and mass murder, top House Republicans act as if their party lost the midterm elections.

Tea party patriots are justifiably frustrated over House Speaker John Boehner's and young guns Majority Leader Eric Cantor's and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy's weak-kneed response to Operation Fast and Furious.

While the Left whips up scandals over a Georgetown law student's inability to locate the nearest Target to purchase a $9 month's supply of birth control pills, Boehner and company prefer the less vocal approach when it comes to slain agents Brian Terry and Jaime Zapata.

Judson Phillips, founder of Tea Party Nation, appearing on Fox News yesterday called out the GOP leaders for their tepid response to the Fast and Furious scandal.

The Republican leadership were just kind of sitting there, and that's really a pretty accurate story.

Well, here's my question: if you're not going to pick a fight with the president, especially when you've got an issue like this Fast & Furious operation... if you're not going to pick a fight with the president when it's something that's really really important, what are you doing there?"

Alfred Hernandez, a spokesperson for the Bakersfield Tea Party suggested Boehner has Cantor on a "short leash" when it comes to speaking out about Fast and Furious.

Remember the meetings and golf games with 0bama, Boehner et al?

I’d lay money 0bama’s blackmailing Boehner with something. 0bama knew this was coming and threatened Boehner.

It is truly a weird thought that the people in DC actually think they can come back home.

Whatever you put up, I’ll double it. NOBODY is this much of a coward.

GOP leadership drops the ball ....

What are they trying to hide that they're afraid will be uncovered? They didn't just "drop" the ball. They're acting like they never had it in the first place.

I am trying to get a local Hispanic Republicans group to sponsor a video attacking Obama on Fast and Furious.
Lots of ideas for graphics.

I think the narrator should be in a cemetery, at the end of the video.

The basic theme would be to touch on “Fast and Furious” showing newspaper clippings, and then remind everyone that Holder and Obama forced gun dealers to sell weapons to Mexican drug lords.

Make the point that Obama and Holder sacrificed Mexican lives in a corrupt attempt get the U.S. Senate to pass a Treaty with Mexico, restricting 2nd Amendment rights.

“Obama sacrificed Mexican lives, like we were just pawns in some big political game. We owe Obama nothing but contempt!”

I would suggest the ad be done in SPANISH, with English subscripts.

The ad would go viral, on YouTube.

NRA members would love it.

Hispanics would also replay it and send it to their friends and family.

Autumnraine explained it when she wrote:

I am beginning to think the GOP fears it’s own skeletons being exposed.

I have been posting for years that we have NO leadership.
Now, with all of Obama’s near daily atrocities, and Boner & McConnell caving in every time, I think it is more sinister.

Most elected return home when they “retire” or lose an election. They become lobbyists.

Has anyone called Issa’s office and get the straight story on this???

I mean, I am not surprised that this kinda fizzled, considering the feckless nature of the GOP (popular kids) leadership and its ineffectiveness...

This “Fast and Furious” was a gift compete on a silver platter, and they never intended to take advantage of this gift...

I guess it just doesn’t matter anymore, it does no good to call, write or visit to explain anything to anyone elected to the House before two years ago...
