This order uses the concept of National Security as a trump to place the needs of the Federal Government above the rights of the people for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (control over your own property).
It further defines the organizational structure to be set in place to establish complete control and how to implement it. As time passes each little area of this broadly extensive umbrella will be addressed and implemented by the Czars.
It signifies the end of our Republic.
I didn’t see anyone mention it: but I assume control over the INTERNET is part of this.
Folks, come Monday morning, our governors and Congresscritters need to hear from everyone. He did this in darkness on a Friday: we need to shed some light on this.
This is waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy out of the box. It amounts to making him king.
Form militia. Prayers up.
“As time passes each little area of this broadly extensive umbrella will be addressed and implemented by the Czars.”
The 40 Czars? aka the 40 Communists? Let em try, we’ll crush them!
ACORN.
I have wondered why are there are these camps and why so many are popping up, why the coffins. Now the NDAA and now this? What is going on? Are they planning on something happening this year? To many what the hells going on here.
We know it’s not in our best interests.
BFL
This doesn’t look good.
Do you have more info on the camps and coffins?
Obama says he can do it. He needs accomplices. Let’s see him do it
Has anyone “tweeted” this or posted it to Facebook?
I'm beginning to think the only conservative at Drudge was Breitbart. Drudge has become a useful tool of the RINO elites. Just my opinion...
First the EO, and now this —
Message from the President Regarding the Continuation of the National Emergency (partial)

“The terrorist threat that led to the declaration on September 14, 2001, of a national emergency continues. For this reason, I have determined that it is necessary to continue in effect after September 14, 2011, the national emergency with respect to the terrorist threat. Barack Obama”

Interesting combination of events - especially in the order and timing of the announcements...
Send it to Newt. Send it to Santorum with an explaination of what it means. His people won’t understand what it means. Romney already knows and likes it.
The fact that this comes out now, during an election year with emphasis on peacetime/non-emergency is ...worrisome.
The big change I see here is the non-emergency and peacetime issue.
But, one cannot take this EO in isolation to recent legislation and other EOs in the last year.
They are piece-mealing it all together. This, too me at least, reads as one of the final cards to be dealt.
This order gives authority in peacetime. As of the signing of the NDAA 2012, we(United States proper) are part of the official battlefield.
The recent passage of the SS act and protests becoming a felony.

If we remotely want to object to the enactment of this EO, whether it is industry, agriculture, water, energy...we're breaking any number of laws previously put in place. Any number of laws can now be used against non-compliant individuals and you or I could be ruled as a domestic terrorist. At which point we lose our Rights to trial. We become a political prisoner of the United States.
This new/expanded authority is under the Executive Branch AND Homeland Security, FEMA, and what ever other agency any number of laws have “consolidated.” Recall 0bama talking about consolidating agencies to save money? Really? We laughed at the minimal dollars and never ‘saw’ what he was doing.
The EO is way far reaching when coupled with the other pieces of the road to tyranny.
I'd be interested in your opinion. (I've read through it a couple of times and I am hoping that it isn't “as bad as it looks.”)
bump for later
