(CNSNews.com) – Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D.-Ill.), a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee which has oversight over the Affordable Care Act (AKA "Obamacare"), said Monday that a new Obamacare regulation announced on Friday afternoon that requires all student health insurance plans to offer college women free sterilizations does not mean the government is “promoting sterilization.”
“This isn’t about promoting sterilization,” said Rep. Schakowsky said. “No one--there aren’t college girls lining up to become sterilized because they feel like it.”

I have always promoted the idea that, after a woman asks for welfare, she must allow Norplant (or whatever the latest technology is).

What you said! That’s what’s been on my mind all day, allowing an 18-22 year old to make that kind of decision, no parental approval, probably little to no counseling, and what counseling there is would be promoting the decision. It truly makes me physically ill.
Maybe Shitkowski should counsel a woman who regrets her earlier abortion decision, you know, just to see the other side of the argument. I cannot believe the absolute ignorance and tunnel vision and utter selfishness of people promoting this. Can you imagine a girl who decided at 20 to become sterilized and then matures into a woman who at 30 wants a family? Makes my blood run cold.

Subsidize the sterilization of young college women when they are not yet fully mature—right in the midst of their 4 to 5 years course of indoctrination that Americans consume too much of the Earth’s resources and thus, IN FAIRNESS, should not have children. If you don’t believe this is being taught, you have not been paying attention.
Once the sterilization of the young (and head full of mush as Rush says), gullible coed is done—PROGRESSIVE MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Once the young coed matures and comes to her senses and wants to have a surgical reversal of the sterilization—INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER IT. They’re required to cover the sterilization costs FULLY but (I believe) are not allowed to cover ANY OF THE COST OF A REVERSAL—not one red cent of the costs.
