I have read the whole thing and listened to all the calls.

There is no case here based on what is published. The only reasonable things left that should be investigated are how they ended up in the commons area behind the houses. And what was the shootee doing out there? Exercise? Fresh air? He was a guest and not a regular of the neighborhood.

the shooter went looking for him? Or was chased there?

There was obviously a physical confrontation and the man can be heard yelling for help before the gunshots. He has grass and on his back and is wet. He was down and on his back!

His previous call seems informative and his call history appears to prove he is a very aware citizen.

Looks like self defense to me. I don’t think they were making love in the grass unless the dead guys name is Help.

The ONLY other scenario I can conjure is that Zimmerman shot the kid out of rage and had the presence of mind to roll around in the grass and bloody himself up to make it look like a fight occurred. Otherwise, I agree with you Tenacious, this was pretty clear-cut self-defense and EXACTLY the reason for this state’s “Stand Your Ground” law.

“Looks like self defense to me.”

I’d really be curious to know if the Zimmerman advocates are CCW holders or have ever taken a CCW class. From what I know, Zimmerman did everything wrong and should be held accountable.
