Afraid Obama will be reelected? Here's a word of Encouragement (Vanity)
Vanity | March23, 2012 | no dems

If there ever was a President who deceived his way into office and deserves to be defeated, it's the current occupant of the White House. But, the GOP has done it again. They've given us a horrible slate of candidates to choose from at a time in our nation's history like no other. "March Madness" has brought us the GOP's Final Four: Kook-Daddy and the Three Stooges. There is little enthusiasm for any of them; causing many to fear that Obama will end up pulling victory from the jaws of defeat. Well, let me try and encourage you with regard to that.

Yes, what we thought would be a slam dunk defeat for Obama on November 6, 2012 does not seem as likely as it did six months ago. If Obama should win, take heart. It is very likely that the GOP will hold onto it's Majority in the House and re-take control of the Senate. Those two scenarios, at this point in time, are almost a "given". That would, virtually, paralyze an Obama second-term. He would be a do-nothing President except for having veto power. Even his authority to appoint Supreme Court Justices and Federal judges would be greatly hampered by non-approval by the Senate. This nation will continue to go to hell in a hand basket because of his veto power. And, we must admit, America will deserve what she gets by allowing this Marxist to be reelected. But, by the time 2016 arrives, if we still have a nation, he will be the most hated man in America and the Democratic Party will be set back 20 years. But, if we have become a Third World Nation by then, well, once again; a stupid, entitlement crazed, American electorate will deserve what they get. At least those of us who tried will know we did our best to save this great Republic. And, personally, I for one will get some satisfaction, and vindication, out of seeing those who reelected Barack Hussein Obama suffer. He who does not like vengeance has never tasted it. And before you criticize me, please understand: This attitude is the only thing that keeps me from taking years off my life by being angry and worrying over this Election. Now, peace out!

the Marxist will just set a record for Executive orders and His regulation Czar Cass Sunstein will just regulate oppression on all of us.

Exactly!

This guy hasn't exactly been worried about due process up to this point.

The better scenario for accepting a consolation is that we do get the house and senate and the liberal Romney and THEN see if he vetos his own congress. That would be enough to be a one term loser, but far better than sitting home and letting Obama win.

In case you hadn't heard, the UN now supersedes the US congress.

They now have a strictly decorative function.

Massive voter turnout is what it takes! Fight the war strategically, at the right time!

It won’t happen. Have you ever seen how many people on here, this website, Free Republic, say they will NOT vote for Romney. They will stay home or vote Third Party. And who hates Obama more than the rest of the country? WE DO. And if people who really hate Obama don’t vote, what makes us think the rest of the anti-Obama folks, who are tepid in their dislike for him, will be enough votes to get him out of the White House? Nope; Conservatives have thrown in the towel on this one. Practice saying “President Obama” for four more years.

Where are you getting a GOP Senate?
____________________________________________________________

First of all, Rush thinks we have a good chance of taking the Senate. And, I’m not a Dick Morris fan, but, I read his rundown on all the open Senate races. Many Democrat retirees are in States that are now solid Republican, such as Kent Conrad of North Dakota who was elected in the ‘80s. North Dakota will not elect a Dem this time. republican Rick Berg is mounting a strong campaign. Claire McCaskill (Obama’s girlfriend) is trailing badly in Missouri; she’s toast. The beat goes on.
