Sharing is good.

THE cops knew the kid was dead. THEY know that dead guys don't have privacy rights ~ 'cause they're dead.

THE reporter gal says "since the cops already have the phone" ~ but yet we don't have the police saying that.

This has the look and feel of so many hypotheticals. And the phone should have been on that list of "things" he had.

The complaint here is that Zimmerman wasn't arrested.

THE story is a guy at the state's attorney's office said they really couldn't get around to working up everything they'd need for a full trial within the 175 days allowed by state law so they just turned him loose.

Sounds specious, but the Sanford police are saying they wanted to lock him up.

I think many people who don't give a good hoot about most of the peripheral issues raised would also like to have this guy locked up.

He's killed once, he may kill again. He's armed.

I particularly don't like DUI cases and drive by shooters walking around loose ~

I’m trying to imagine a cop helping a shooter cover up his crime, just because shooter is police informant claiming self defence against dead black John Doe.

It's the topic.

Late this evening the Leftwingtards finally figured out it doesn't help Obama this fall to go into the street with big marches on behalf of a black guy against an hispanic guy.

All at once this story is falling off the ledge into oblivion.

The cops have finally begged off the whole question ~ they are blaming lawyers higher up for leaving them no choice but to let the guy go (FOR NOW).

So it wasn't a case of the cops protecting a snitch ~ just a bunch of lazy lawyers.

BTW, when the cops blame the lawyers, I usually accept the legitimacy of what they're saying. When the cops blame the public, that's just BS.

Someday we'll have a case where a cop blames his K9 dog which will leave most Freepers wondering which side to support.

I appreciate and respect your point of view and there are some valid points. Valid but debatable. I should not once again make this a personal biography but feel I should mention something I once experienced as a security guard. We were not armed in Canada.

I faced a man some 25 years younger and hard as nails. For one awful minute which seemed like an eternity, he made as if to smash my face. It was the last person out at close of the movie theatre. It came to nothing. Pacifist by nature myself, I believe I would have shot the man, had I had a gun and had he carried out his threats. He used body English.

The chill of abject fear, puts one on the side of self preservation- at any cost.

“shooter is police informant”

Really? Your evidence?

“against dead black John Doe.”

And of course, our racist police departments REALLY try to cover up crimes against black men...because NO ONE cares, right?

What color is the sky in the world where you live?

Yup, as soon as Martin found he'd been backed into a grassy area between houses and he wasn't going to make it home, he charged a man with a gun.

Fear for your life ~ when you've been ambushed and you are far enough away you take cover. The doctrine says if you are within the killing range no matter what you do the correct action is to attack!

Been that way since close quarters combat was invented.

Zimmerman should have realized he was hunting a human being, and that can always be dangerous. I suspect he thought Martin was going to duck into a friend's house ~

You assume that in order to “know what’s going on” we need to watch TV. Tv has a calming effect which actually put the viewer in an “alpha wave state,” which makes then less responsive to critical thought. So Tv advertisers and infotainment people take advantage of that and play on emotion. Yesterday I was away from home and saw CNN or MSNBC and they had Jesse Jackson on for most of an hour. But aside from the effect of TV on our intellects we shouldn’t be paying for the “honor” of hearing their tripe. You can find it online if you really want to.

Congrats on your turning back my personal experience to support Trayvon as victim. I, of course, was taking the part of Zimmerman. What now has to be ascertained, is the state of mind of the two people in this unnecessary tragedy. No matter what, Zimmerman's life has maybe changed forever. The family of Trayvon more so.

I hope "wiser heads will prevail" and the political opportunists are not allowed to cause more innocent people to die.

The Left has been looking for any excuse to bring on the riots, if not this, they would find something else, or just make something up.

Not with the same voice inflection and intonations. You also don’t get to hear what he media is saying and how they treat what is being said. I suppose you are correct for the weak minded who can’t or don’t think for themselves. Part of the problem we are having today is due to people not knowing or caring what was happening while they were selfishly living their own life with little regard to what was happening.

I’ll opt for knowing and being prepared thank you very much.

Once again you opt for the, IMHO, erronious opinion that you need TV to know what is going on. I’m telling that you are lazy and can find out much more about what’s going on in other places. TV missinforms and missdirects. I don’t have to keep watching Hitler rant to know that he must be defeated.
