On “Face the Nation” Sunday on CBS, Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum explained that his view of the Trayvon Martin shooting differed significantly from the one held by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
Pathetic but true. I hope. Because plausible alternative explanations are only more damning.

I did want to say one more thing. If heaven forbid someone should harm or kill Mr. Zimmerman, I do feel that given the vile and incendiary things that Santorum said about the man...that which he has absolutely FAILED to very-publicly REDRESS himself of...that as harsh as it sounds, Santorum then has the man's blood on his hands. Harsh but true. Rick knows and knew of the Dead or Alive $$$ terrorist bounty on Zimmerman's head when he publicly (disgustingly) propagandized against the very vulnerable citizen.

Worst part about this is watching Rick trying to make a point. What a bumbling, fumbling speaker he is when he gets off his talking points. He needs a teleprompter as well, but Obama will still slice and dice him in a debate.

I have a theory that the media and gop/dnc pumped up santorum in order to prevent gingrich from recovering the last month or so.

And don’t misunderstand, he was the last one in the running I was going to vote for. You don’t know how angry I was he decided to judge the guy in the court of public opinion and throw him under the bus.
But to me for him to do this, that bothers me about his ability to discern what is really going on and also get carried away by whatever group is screaming the loudest at the moment. Not good. Zimmerman could be me or you having to defend our lives against a non-white attacker. Media is not protraying the story accurately on purpose.

On the first floor vote Rick’s delegates will vote for him. When any candidate fails to get the 1144 votes needed to be the nominee, his delegates will be free to vote for somebody else. They look to their failed candidate to tell them who he supports. They also listen to floor speeches, other prominent party leaders, etc. but when Rick comes up short, and he COULD throw his delegates to Newt, he won’t. He’ll suddenly become a Mitt fan just like he was in 2008.

The problem people like throwback have is they make stupid statements because they lack the proper context.
We used to call those guys “Intelligence Officers”.

I saw Rick ridiculing the very idea of blank slate tax reform in an early debate. This was re Herman Cain’s 999 plan, but it was really his vitriolic condescension that he was right and everybody else was stupid that shocked me. I never considered supporting him after that.
This event is being used to further multiple goals.
1. Libs reframing the gun debate. Particularly off Fast and Furious/Obama.
2. Spiking the race war they want this summer.
3. Revving up blacks for the 2012 election and cheating galore.
4. Restricting gun rights. Repealing gun laws that protect the citizen against criminals.
5. It’s only news when a non-black kills a black (omitting self defense). The blacks ignore the 93 out of 100 blacks that are killed by other blacks because there’s no racial hatred angle to those killings. PLus it would also show the real truth about what the real problem is in the black community. (It’s the black community.)
