The thing that's interesting about the jewelry find is that almost all the burglary reports in the neighborhood had jewelry stolen. It's easily carried. It should be educational if the police manage to trace it.

I lived in a town where that was the standard pattern for burglaries. They didn’t take anything big, they’d just swoop in, grab the jewelry or even change off the dresser top, and be on their way.

The article also mentioned that he had a watch in his bag. He sounds to me like a typical “dresser-top burglar.”
