The New Black Panther Party is offering $10,000 for the "capture" of the man who shot and killed Trayvon Martin.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that New Black Panther leader Mikhail Muhammad announced the bounty on George Zimmerman's head during a rally over the weekend in Sanford, Florida, where the shooting happened last month.
"If the government won't do the job, we'll do it," Muhammad said, referring to the failure thus far of police to arrest Zimmerman.
Sanford Police Captain Robert O'Connor is asking that people ignore the offer.
"The City is requesting calm heads and no vigilante justice," he said in a statement. "Attempts by civilians to take any person into custody may result in criminal charges or unnecessary violence."
The New Black Panther Party should not be confused with the Black Panther Party, which was active during the civil rights movement in the 1960s and 1970s. The Southern Poverty Law Center said the original party has rejected the new group.
The SPLC described the New Black Panther Party as is "a virulently racist and anti-Semitic organization whose leaders have encouraged violence against whites, Jews and law enforcement officers."
It's OK for Eric Holder's people to do stuff like that.
It should be on them.
They are terrorists terrorizing an innocent man, and they are openly plotting murder.

This is the most unfortunate man I have ever seen in my entire life.
The Trayvon Martin mob of thugs are horrible, despicable monsters.
And the pictures of Trayvon Martin showed on TV repeatedly were from when he was 12 or 13. We almost never saw the most recent pictures, in which he has some resemblance to that stereotypical gang look.
This case may welll take its place along with Tucson, and the Duke lacrosse case, and the Atlanta Olympic bombing, and the Tawana Brawley case, in which hysteria was whipped up, by people with political agendas, and that those people did so without regard to the facts.
In this case, facts are still coming out, which contradict the liberal/media narrative.
I wonder what the fallout will be. If this case falls apart completely, are the liberals and Black Panthers going to have any remorse for their actions? Or are we all supposed to just forget this hysteria ever happened?
Capture was clearly a euphemism for kill, and the leader of the NBP should have had an immediate warrent put out for his arrest. What’s he said was to putting out a on zimmerman.
Sounds illegal to me....just saying.
Will murder charges be filed if this results in Zimmerman’s death?

obama just signs an order for martial law in the states. he and holder allow this thing to get worse and worse. hoping that it ends in an all out race war. then he declares martial law, cancels the election and voila...president again.
few problems with this. it will take place in the urban centers. if it heads out into the suburbs or the country, the bad guys might run into a bit more than they bargained for.

Explain to me how this is different than trying to hire a hitman to off your husband/wife/boss/mother-in-law/etc. It's not. If someone posted that flyer on Craigslist, they'd be arrested before dinner time.

Shall we assume the MSM, Janet, and Homeland Security are too stupid to notice the Black Panthers are a vigilante group? Where's the racists Southern Poverty Law Center?
