The attorney for George Zimmerman said Thursday that a Sanford Police video taken hours after the neighborhood watch volunteer shot and killed Miami teen Trayvon Martin may be too grainy to show the injuries he sustained at the hands of the teen.
Attorney Craig Sonner, appearing on NBC's "Today Show" Thursday, says the video released by Sanford Police Wednesday neither refutes or backs up Zimmerman's claims that he was left bloodied and with a broken nose after an altercation with the 17-year-old.
"It's a very grainy video, I do however, if you watch, you'll see one of the officers, as he's walking in, looking at something on the back of his head," Sonner said. "The video is very grainy, and I'm not sure that it has, as far as being able to see the injuries that were recently sustained and then later cleaned up, clearly the report shows he was cleaned up before he was taken in the squad car."
The video shows a handcuffed Zimmerman being escorted from a police cruiser and into Sanford Police headquarters just hours after the deadly encounter with Martin in a gated community on Feb. 26.

Any police investigation of something of this magnitude will contain many photos taken from the incident scene before evidence is taken away, including photos of the body, blood stains, injuries, shell case placement, and many other bits of information that will be useful later. If he did receive injuries, and the police report did say he had some trauma, then I expect those photos will be released. When that happens, these idiots like Ed Schultz who are refuting the broken nose story because of this surveillance video will once again have egg on their face.
The MSM has been yammering about this video all morning along with comments by all the usual suspects saying that Zimmerman had no injuries...ugh.
You watch, whatever the Black Community’s version of the “truth” is, the cops will capitulate, out of fear.
I find the behavior of the black community ignorant, disgusting and scarey.
The race pimps are claiming that he executed him without a struggle, but the investigation (ballistics, gun powder residue) will clearly show if he shot him close up in a struggle like he says.
Our friend was a police photographer....clearest pictures I ever saw. Video is sometimes lacking without “enhancements”...I watch a lot of NCIS.

This video is damaging to Zimmerman IMHO. Most people squirt blood when sucker punched in the face and their nose broken. Let’s see the photos.

The police report clearly states that he was bleeding from the nose and the back of the head, and that he was treated for his injuries.
It is ridiculous that the media is pushing this new meme. Their conduct in this has been reprehensible and dangerous.
First read the police report. EMT on scene administered aid before he was taken to police station. (He went to Dr next day as reported by his friend. It was reported seventeen stitches last evening by a freeper but she didn't give source)
The bullet casing was found in the chamber NOT on the ground.(News conference on line) According to freepers with knowledge of guns some “thing” kept it from discharging.... A fight over the gun was claimed and would be a logical explanation.
T's Girlfriend was talking with him on cell phone minutes before the shot. She heard the discussion between the two and the scuffle begin. Police have taken her statement as well as six plus others, who saw the scuffle. T on top of G. G calling for help (Which can be heard on one of the 911 tapes....Have YOU listened to them?)
The results of the autopsy will be in a couple of weeks. We will then be told the entry and angle of bullet, How close the gun was and if T had any drugs in his system.
I'm just asking where the skittle and AZ tea information came from as MSM picked it up from somewhere and have NOT been able to find it in the police report.
Since drugs are mentioned in T's tweets (They are on line too) and GZ in his initial call to police mentions the erratic behavior of the person he was observing (It's on line too) Am just wondering if in their naivete’ someone mentioned drugs by street names instead of innocent snacks.
This whole thing is ridiculous. We have courts for a reason. Each “side” is being played by media catering to their biases and all it is doing is feeding the monster.
A grand jury was set to review the case on April 10. Apparently, nobody could wait for that. Now there’s a “special prosecutor,” whose sole job is to investigate this case. That’s usually a self-perpetuating nightmare.
It’s sad to watch everyone trash our justice system without allowing it a chance to begin. But that’s the narrative the “reporters,” “bloggers,” and “activists” of all types want to sell.
