Two well-placed legal experts have independently told Palmetto Public Record they expect the U.S. Department of Justice to issue an indictment against South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley on charges of tax fraud as early as this week.
A highly ranked federal official has also privately confirmed rumblings of an investigation and possible indictment of the governor, though the official was not aware of the specific timeframe.
Yesterday, Palmetto Public Record exclusively reported that the Internal Revenue Service has been investigating since March of 2011 the Sikh worship center run by Gov. Haleys father. At least five lawsuits have been filed against the Sikh Society of South Carolina since 2010, alleging that the group bilked contractors out of nearly $130,000 for the construction of a new temple.
Gov. Haley is reported to have managed the temples finances as late as 2003, and our sources believe any indictment would center on what happened to the missing money.
Palmetto Public Record will post a story later this afternoon detailing the temples shady finances and the governors possible involvement. Stay tuned
Still waiting for the DOJ to slap the cuffs on MF’n Corzine. Won’t happen ‘cause he’ll spill his guts on his boy Hussein.
Gov. Haley is a victim of not only a partisan witch hunt or Obama, but a victim of the Obama War on women, Christians and people of Indian backgrounds.
If she wanted my sympathy, she would have supported someone other than Romney...or at least kept quiet.
Have fun in jail, Nikki.
I wonder how conseravative she is. She endorsed Romney months ago. Puke.
First off there seems to be a statute of limitations problem.
Second wouldnt this be a civil matter?
Isn’t she the former Tea Party darling who is backing Mitt Romney? Serves her right. Karma’s a bitch.
While Republicans might not think she's conservative, Democrats won't take the chance that she is (or becomes) popular.
The fact still is that she's a woman governor in a red state. Democrats cannot allow her to become successful, when you look at the Democrat record of woman governors (Napolitano, Sebelius, Granholm, Gregoire).

Maybe her sugar daddy Romney can bail her out, I could care less if she rots in jail.
Haley talks the talk, but does not walk the walk. Her short tenure has been one of big government corporatism like Romney. If she gets nailed on anything, it will be campaign fund fraud, kickbacks, and illegal use of state funds. Haley has proven to be fairly inept in covering up her graft. Laz would still hit it though.
Check the Regime and the US Congress as well!
The DOJ flunky lib Obama sycophants, need to go back to the private sector and back to chasing ambulances. This is so transparently political, it isn’t funny
Maybe her buddy Mitt will rush to her rescue.
