I also don’t know for sure what the Supremes will do, but I beleive they will do the right thing because in our history through many trials and tribulations, many worse than we now face, America has always come out on top.

There can be "horse trading" during this process. For example, Ginsburg and another liberal could vote to kill the mandate in exchange for Roberts and Kennedy agreeing that the bill is severable
There will be plenty of leaking imo, just not to us. The leaks will go directly into the ears of Obama via Kagen as someone pointed out up thread.

You sound like Rush. That it even got this far is beyond belief. Thinking back on that whole nightmare period in March of 2012, I just get sick. The deals made, Stupak and his ‘prolife’ stance. The marches. Pelosi and that gang walking through the Tea Partiers just daring and gloating.
They know exactly what they had done; taken over without a shot. Which really happened on 11/04/2008...not a shot was fired, not a whimper was heard. The communists/marxists marched in and took over the U.S.A.

I wonder if Ginsberg might surprise us. Not only that she was awake during oral arguments, but because she was posing the question of the Court doing a ‘salvage job’ (which ain’t their job) on the Evilcare bill. That suggested to me that she had already either viewed the mandate as unconstitutional or had realized most of her colleagues did. Could a moment of rationality prod her to choose logic over ideology?

To do a “salvage” they’d have to *read* the 2700 page bill.
One of the justices already said he would not do so.
2700/50 pages a day = 54 days of reading Obamacare
From what I’ve heard, it makes many citations into other codes, so it’s a laborious reading at that.

No they aren’t.....We the people decide the fate of a nation...
These Justices simply correct or fix the abuses or sometimes make worse the actions of Congress who pass legislation that make federal law and regulations
In the end who we pick as POTUS makes the court what it is
As bad as I don’t want to vote for Mittens....if Obama gets re-elected he will get to pick at least two more Justices....
His last two picks should make everyone run to the voting booth over broken glass to vote against him...
Yea I know, I heard some of the comments when he suggested they read it....the Judges were very much on their toes...I was impressed..... but it sure would be great if someone could condense this monstrocity.....better yet ditch it all together. It has to go!
However there insn't any way we can really know yet how this will come out in June. They'll do their writing and discussions etc. which can change the initial so called vote...so you never know for certain whcih way it will go.
But it sure was a great listen as the arguments were presented.
