The slaying of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin has jolted the American public from its apathy, and there is righteous public outrage from coast to coast.
Martin's death at the hands of a neighborhood watch volunteer in Sanford, Fla., has become a national issue that has drawn comment from President Obama and other national leaders. In California, state lawmakers Thursday donned hoodies to demand justice in the case.
Much closer to home, Oakland residents have held rallies to demand action in the Florida case, which has raised multiple troubling issues, including the question of whether Martin was deemed "suspicious" by his shooter because he was an African American youth wearing a hoodie. The admitted shooter, George Zimmerman, is a white Hispanic.
Meanwhile, Lakisha Hill of Hayward wondered if anyone will speak up for her boy.
Charles Hill III, 16, was gunned down in East Oakland after an argument outside a party one week ago. He is one of 28 homicide victims in Oakland this year.
Lakisha Hill, his mother, was one of several people who have lost a son to violence in Oakland and contacted Marilyn Washington Harris, seeking answers, comfort and support. Harris began an antiviolence foundation soon after the death of her own son, Khadafy, in 2000.

Truly if Zimmerman was considered “just Hispanic” instead of “white Hispanic”, there would be no outrage by the “progressive” [spit] community.
So, if Zimmerman is a white hispanic, is the pretender in chief a white black man?
1. Shift your body quickly to his right while pushing upward and backward with your right hand under his gun while at the same time applying downward pressure on his elbow joint with your left arm.
2. Once his trigger finger is bent back and rendered useless, snatch the gun from his grip, turn it, and empty the clip.

Chip Johnson, the writer of this drivel, had a very difficult editing job.
Here he was assigned to fill up a portion of a page of a news rag, and tried to make it news related the gangsta Trayvon, yet he never made that connection because he wasn’t allowed to tell anyone the color of the shooter who offed these black kids.

I think some of us have been jolted from apathy as the article states. These are the takeaways: 1. Don’t call 911, it will only lead a trail back to you if things go sideways. 2. Youth culture among certain demographics can turn petty criminals into violent aggressors on the slightest provocation, so be ready to defend your life should you encounter someone in a hoodie casing a neighborhood. 3. Have a safe house to retreat to if the Black Panthers decide to put a price on your head.

There’s a big gaping hole in this story.
Almost every day you can look at the San Francisco Chronicle and find a story of homicide in Oakland (or Richmond). It’s become a joke to the readers, who say the Chronicle just needs to post a template and change the date and numbers of the dead.
The race of the victim(s) and suspect(s) is never mentioned, but again, all readers agree that if the race (physical description) is not mentioned, it can be only one race, and they all know what it is.
The picture that emerges is that of a certain demographic holding life as being very cheap.
There is a church (I remember it as being the First African Methodist Episcopal Church at 37th and Telegraph, Oakland) that had a banner poster over its front doorway: “Stop Black on Black Violence.” I went by there a week or so ago and the banner was gone.

Well first. all the folks down in Sanford trying to get free plublisity are democrats - panthers, poverty pimps, MSM enablers... NO Tea Party folks - none. It’s a dem three ring circus.
Second, the President injected himself into the mess by his ‘looks likes my son’ comment.
Third, liberals are liars. If they say it’s not them, it’s them.
If Democrats lost the angry black vote (90+% go dem) they wouldn’t be able to elect a dog catcher. Dems know how to gin up the rage vote - it’s poking a hornet’s nest with a big ugly stick.
