a little north of that . . . the road the goes to Target runs by his neighborhood . . . across from the Melear Postal Station . . . I forget the name of the neighborhood, it is older.
I think that is Mayfield. We live in the neighborhood on the northwest corner of Pleasant Ridge and Kelly Elliot.
YIKES! By time we visited most of the windows were covered with plywood or replaced. I worked in the office on Cherry Street on the 38th & 36th floor during my years there. Ft. Worth was so lucky that hit after 5 . . . I think it was around 6 or 6:30 because my brother worked in Dallas and lived in Aledo and was in traffic on 30 near Beach St when it hit.
Several of my wife’s co-workers were still in the building when it hit. One said he knew it was time to go when he saw a chair fly by his seventh floor window. Another had been in one of the conference rooms. They all ran into the stairwell. When it was over, the only thing left in the conference room was the table.

My folks have a place near Bowen Road just south of Green Oaks. Luckily they aren’t there right now and are safe. If you hear anything about that spot I’d appreciate it. It’s the house I grew up in.

My Sis and Niece live just south of I20/840 in Arlington. Both work in south Ft. Worth.
Haven’t heard where the damage was in Arlington.
25-30 home affected in the Green Oaks/Arkansas area of Arlington.
Chesterfield area, some damage, near 287. Homes on both sides of 285 damaged.
[Sounds like 3 large sections of Arlington were impacted.]
Officer reports actually seeing a tornado on the ground and skipping through the town.
Thanks, TomGuy. Hoping the place is OK. It’s on Collard Road, west of Bowen, just south of Green Oaks and east of Park Springs.
Haven’t heard anymore but from the reports their house must be very close to where some damage has been reported.
Hamilton and Young among players delayed getting to the park for the exhibition game tonight.

Geez! I just found this thread after coming inside today. here in the Hill Country, the skies are slightly overcast. No sign of rain.
