Oh, my! That looks a lot like Redondo Beach, California, where my late brother used to live about a half-block up from the surf.
But it’s Ireland, right?

It does look a bit like Ireland doesnt it!
Its the SS Great Britain, sat in the dry dock where it was built by Brunel in 1843.
IIRC the first ship to do the trans-Atlantic run on coal only, and arrive with fuel left in the hold, as well as the Australian route. In service for 43 years. The first large ship to be driven by a screw propeller.
It returned home in 1970, packed out with old mattresses.
The hull is like a sieve, and so the lower half of the hull is in a climate controlled cocoon.
Located in Bristol, (west coast.)

I'll be away for a while because I have to get ready for Hubby's and my dinner date this evening.
Will try to check in before we leave for NMDs.

You two have the best time! We’ll keep track of the NMD. I’m still waiting for the democrat to show up. I’ve left him a voice an appropriate voice mail. “Guilt trip, laced with a lecture about responsibility.” He will cry and lie, but I’m ready for that, too.
Been there, handled that several times.
