It’s Catherine Zeta Jones. I think back around the whole impeachment mess when Dowd was writing all these stories about Monica and Bill and was really in her prime if you want to call it that, that she went out with Michael Douglas for a bit. Anyway, he ended up leaving her for CZJ.
So it’s an FR custom that whenever a story involving Dowd comes up someone posts a CZJ photo to rub salt in the wound.
Also, I think some of the worry about Kennedy is misplaced. he wrote the Citizens United decision that was largely villified and attacked by the dems, the media, and the left. If he really cared about how the media treated him I don’t think if he’d have written that decision. He also has always been a consistent vote against affirmative action and racial preferences. He’s been a solid vote in both 2nd amendment cases. He was a very strong vote in the federalism cases like Lopez, Morrison and the 11th amendment cases. He even vote dto uphold the partial birth abortion ban.
Yes he’s liberal on some issues. But I don’t think he’s as malleable or susceptible or outisde pressure as some think
