In further news...

Rubio said he would be crafting legislation to allow children to keep any money their parents robbed from a bank, saying the children “through no fault of their own” acquired the stolen money and should be allowed to keep it.

But he said he would sponsor a proposal that incorporates the “idea” of helping young illegal immigrants by providing them with a special visa to allow them to stay in the country legally while waiting in line to get citizenship.

I see no substantial difference between this and the DREAM Act.

No thanks, Rubio.

Thank you, Mr. Rubio. Makes me, a legal immigrant, feel like an idiot, having gone for 6 years through the immigration process, paying tons of money in legal and government fees, meanwhile staying here legally, paying taxes, paying for my and my family’s medical insurance, my son’s tuition, spending my money here in the States. Thanks again, Senor Rubio, the Rupublican “young gun”. What a mockery of the law.

Call me an ol’ softie (or a traitor to the cause), but I can live with the concept of kids who never known anything but America as their home being granted a pass on their parents’ misbehavior. But the rules have to stipulate that they not become wards of the state. They need to have sponsors, legal friends or family members (or charitable individuals or organizations) to ensure that we the taxpayers don’t end up supporting them.

On March 27, The Hill reported that Texas Republican Sens. Jon Kyl and Kay Bailey Hutchison “are also working on a bill, although its details are being kept secret, according to congressional sources. Senate sources expect it to be unveiled after GOP front-runner Mitt Romney has clinched the presidential nomination.”

GOPe welcomes Rubio to their fold.

So can I, (in theory) but in reality, any system put in place will be abused and deliberately undermined by the left (as we see). And our country can't afford it.

Again PROOF, how wise our founding fathers were to require the President and, by amendment, the Vice President to be NATURAL BORN CITIZENS without foreign attachments.

Article XII (1804)
.......But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.

...any system put in place will be abused and deliberately undermined by the left...

That has been the case on all systems covering all topics since there first was a "left". We need to reduce the left to the point where they no longer matter. A daunting job.

Amen to that. But don't expect this regime to do it. Demand it of our next administration, and don't take "no" or "later" for an answer!

Surprise!

With Romney for cover, Marco will make every RINO dream come true! Now maybe uninformed conservatives will believe us when we say, Rubio’s a RINO. Romney is too. Romney is also a DIABLO, a democrat in all but label only. You’ll see new spending programs on RINO ideas from the convention to election day, and no one will be calling them on it because “we have to win.” You’d better hang on to your wallets, with RINOs in the driver’s seat, it’s going to be a costly ride.

Now exactly who is supposed to be holding whose feet to the fire?
