Kraft Foods, Inc. has become the third corporate titan to abandon a conservative group that supports the type of Stand Your Ground gun law at the center of the Trayvon Martin controversy in Florida.
Kraft one of many corporation members of the American Legislative Exchange Council wont renew its membership when it expires this spring, Kraft Corporate Affairs Director Susan Davison told POLITICO.

Ditto. I stopped buying Kraft cheese when I discovered it began adding Natamycin to its cheese in order to extend shelf life and appearance. A search of the drug name Natamycin revealed it is an antifungal used in the treatment of specific eye diseases. And I’m supposed to want to eat cheese laced with this drug? This company has been shameless in its use of additives in all its products, and continues to rely heavily upon high fructose corn syrup as well. My wife purchases Kraft products but I will not eat any of it any longer. Yes Cabot makes a fine cheese. I even purchase the Publix store brand and it is quite good yet contains no antifungal eye medications.
Bummer! I love Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Kraft Real Mayonnaise. Gah! My mater sammich won’t be the same without it. :(
If you live near the East Coast (NE) try Ken’s salad dressings .
I personally like Amy’s but Newmans’ will do. The very best are...local
Cindy’s Kitchen out of Maine and Whole Foods..
wicked Yummy!
get a grip girl!!! New Horizon’s cheese and Hellman’s low fat!!!
AS we Bostonians like to say...
Whaddau? Retahded? LOL!
Kraft Mac and (fake) cheese has killed more Americans than guns ever will.
we need to stop buying brand name products that support liberal / progressive messages. then call those companies and express your displeasure with their one-sided political propaganda
start a list ... if they don’t support conservatives... they obviously don’t want our business
MAKE IT HURT
You’ve all missed the point, which is, these major corporations caved into the new Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson extortionist, marxist Van Jones and his new front group, Color of Change.
This is where conservative journalism needs to focus their attention and expose both Van Jones/COC and the cowardice of these “Big Businesses”.
It is hard to bring about a boycott of these major corporations, but a stockholders’ protest by conservative stock holders would be a nice tactic.
Whaddau? Retahded? LOL!

Yes, I am. No other mayo tastes the same. I’m like the princess and the pea when it comes to my mayo! :p

The problem is.. The list is sooooooooo long we have little choice.
I’ll admit, my cars are insured by progressive. I wanted to leave them but the top teir insurers where 2-4 times MORE per year, the only one lower was esurance, but they won’t cover cargo vans.
When Krap mac and cheese went over 60 cents a box (it’s in the 1.50 range now) we switched to making our own. Much better taste anyways.
I agree, though much of it has soy oil etc. that I try to stay away from anyway; but this is the clincher.
Thanks for the tip!!
We tried generic instead of the usual Miracle Whip and found it quite good. When Coke went to 20-pack/cases rather than the customary 24-pack, we dumped them too. We quit Proctor & Gamble in entirety years ago. There are suitable, and in many cases more than suitable substitutes for brand names that let activists decide their policies.
When we replaced our carpet, we got measurements and a quote from the big box stores that was significantly beaten by a local (no agenda support for activist causes) store for Karastan carpet. Alternatives are there, we just need to locate and use them.
The abandon sword is double edged, taste the blade Kraft as I abandon your corporation.

Why do the media outlets continue to say that the Trayvon death is linked to the FL law of Stand Your Ground?
Zimmerman’s attorney publically stated over a week ago that the SYG law is not applicable. Instead, this was simply a matter of Self Defense.
btw, I can’t recall the last time I bought any of the fake cheese made by Kraft and I use Great Value salad dressings from W-M that are identical to Kraft’s in taste and much cheaper.
Pussy corporations.
I have found that some Wal-Mart mayonnaises are cheaper,
tastier, and without *-mycin stuff. One of them has contents
by decreasing weight per cent:
soybean oil
water
egg yolks
vinegar
high fructose corn syrup (hard to evade these days)
contains less than 2% of:
salt
whole eggs
natural flavor (??)
Calcium disodium EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetate)
Calories per gram: Fat 9, Carbohydrate 4, protein 4
(As a PhD physical chemist, I have no problem with ingesting small amounts of food-grade EDTA used as a preservative to stabilize color and shear-thinning rheology. Hope this is not too chemical-sounding. Look it up in Wiki.)
It's called "State Fair Real Mayonnaise" -- probably like homemade stuff. (Distributed by The Carriage House Companies, Inc, Fredonia, NY, 14053, USA).
You might want to try that. I like it better than H*llman's, which is more bland and expensive, to my taste.
Well, the thought-patterns of their executives will be tainted and soiled by the gun-hating Illinois average mind-set.
I'm sure they do not have to deal with any issues of their employees keeping firearms in their cars in the parking lot. Nobody will have a CCDW license, for sure.
I guess they want to inculcate the Illinois no-joy into the rest of the country.
