Lisa Murkowski to her fellow Republicans: It makes no sense to make this attack on women

WOW. Look, I respect that Alaska Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski values her moderate reputation, that she’s a kind person who seeks to facilitate conversation across the aisle, that she doesn’t want to offend her friends who are Democrats, but c’mon. She’s going to provide cover for Democratic rhetoric that Republicans are waging a “war on women”? Oh, I’m sorry, excuse me. Murkowski didn’t say Republicans are “waging a war.” She said they’re “making an attack.” Honestly, I can’t even figure out who she’s pandering to, other than to Democrats. From HuffPo:

From Wikipedia

"Lisa Ann Murkowski (born May 22, 1957) is the senior United States Senator from the State of Alaska and a member of the Republican Party. She was appointed to the Senate in 2002 by her father, Governor Frank Murkowski. After losing a Republican primary in 2010, she became the second person ever to win a U.S. Senate election through write-in votes."

Why is she repeating the DNC/Mainstream Media talking points?

RINO, just be honest and caucus with the Dems.

A RINO is a person in complete agreement with liberal Democrats on political issues, but regards them as too lower class to associate with socially. Though if they have money they are far more acceptable to RINOs than conservatives, that RINOs think of as “country bumpkins”.

Back in the 1950’s and 1960’s, they were the “country club Republicans”, who were quite comfortable being the minority party, as long as their personal investments were secured by healthy government contracts, they would not make too many waves, nor vigorously oppose the liberal Democrat agenda.

Finally, after all these years, the Tea Party has come along to purge as many of these parasites as possible from the party. But it is not an easy task, as the RINOs have surrounded themselves with a wealthy phalanx of lobbyists and Beltway Bandits, willing to support them as long as a quid pro quo is given.

At the very least, she should have lost her seniority after her stunt in ‘10 against Joe Miller who won the Republican primary.

True. We need someone with courage, like Reagan or Sarah. It’s amazing how so many fold —over nothing.

I think she has cut deals with the liberals...how else do you explain her election...on write-ins.

She will continue to sabotage the Republican Party from the inside, just like the rest of the "Cocktail Hour Republicans" who only care about running with and be ACCEPTED by the "In Crowd" in D.C.

It's hard to deal with people who skirt the rules and have no integrity.

Americans need a reminder of what RINOs are all about.

Yeah. Gosh. We haven't had one for at least five minutes...

Lisa Murkowski is not a Republican. She lost the primary. She’s just another angry left-winger.

Please don’t assume all Alaskans voted for this woman. She was elected by a coalition of democratic socialists (especially the union thugs and natives) and the Alaskan Republican Party hacks. As Dennis Prager would say it was a moment of “clarity” for me. I changed my voter registration from republican to independent as soon as her corrupt write in election was certified.

What Murkowski is doing in Alaska after being elected as a write-in candidate is a preview of what Romney Presidency would be like.

Don’t worry people! The way things are going, Alaska won’t be a part of the US for much longer.

"that she’s a kind person who seeks to facilitate conversation across the aisle, that she doesn’t want to offend her friends who are Democrats"

I stopped reading right there because the nausea was threatening to overcome me.

This big, brawny, manlike ilberal female seems like the type of R who's right up Romney's alley. She'll probably get a cabinet post if he wins.

This is just silly: the “war on women” fraud is nothing more than a Goebbels type BIG LIE, pronounced by a demagogue president and repeated by his amen corner in the Democrat Party and the press. The real war is, in fact Obama’s overt war on the Catholic Church. Many Republicans believe it is unjust for the state to obliterate religious freedom by COMPELLING religious institutions to act against their conscience. Catholic resistance to buying birth and abortion pills for other people is hardly a “war”. Women can obtain this stuff now. No one stops them.
